Lovely stay and staff! We had a great stay with an amazing view of the mountains from our room. The staff were very helpful with picking us up from our previous hotel and booking our tickets to the zhangjiajie national park.
Great dinner, breakfast and the tea session. Would definitely go back. Also love the dog wangwang welcoming us!

This accommodation is situated 10mins drive away from the Zhangjiajie National Park East Entrance, away from the crowd. There are butlers serving all the guests, arranging for ticket buying at a cheaper rate, driving you to the national park, massage or restaurant. The restaurant in this accommodation serves really delicious food at a reasonable price. We get to enjoy tea and looking at the mountain while it was raining in the morning. A quaint experience that I definitely reccommend. Thank you to Mr Hu, Tingting, Ah Shen and everyone from the accommodation for making the stay so comfortable, and it is a nice place to rest your mind and body. The dogs and cats are very cute too!

It is a must stay if you visit ZJJ. Seriously, the people here are amazing—they treat you like family, always going the extra mile to make sure you’re happy. The tea ceremony? Pure magic. They walk you through every graceful step, sharing stories that make you feel connected to the culture. And the food… wow. Every meal was a flavor explosion, fresh and packed with local love. They’ll even pick you up from the airport for free, drop you at the train, and drive you to the national park. No stress, just good vibes. This place isn’t just a stay—it’s a warm hug for your soul. Don’t miss it!

We had a wonderful stay and the hotel team treated us so well. Thanks to Mr HU and Miss Maomao and Li Gang and all the team !. The hotel takes care of pick up and drop-off from/to airport and to the Forest park. Very well organised and helpful. MR HU took care of the entrance ticket to the park and everything went smooth. The Duplex suite for the family was so cosy and charming. I would recommend it for sure. The food was delicious. Thanks to all !

Simply it was an amazing experience. Roundtrip pick up service was free, which was very nice. Also shuttle service to mountain gates were provided. Hotel it self had very unique design, the room we got was bath tub + sauna inside. After full day hiking in December, sauna option room was best decision we made. Lot of people might think it’s better to get a hotel in the city, but this hotel location wasn’t an issue, was much better to getaway from all the noise.
Thank you Hu! You were superb host 🙂 we will definitely comeback in the future.

Foggy Valley is an excellent hotel that helped us enjoy our trip to Zhangjiajie National Park to the fullest. Hotel looks amazing even though most of the time we were outside. Even without leaving hotel you can make a lot of beautiful photos. The food was also great, we enjoyed absolutely every meal we tried there. I can assure that the best part about our stay was the stuff of Foggy Valley, never in my life I had an experience like this. Every stuff member was extremely helpful and involved. At first we were sceptical, but it was unnecessary, because the advices they were giving us could have saved us a lot of time if we realised this good intentions earlier. Especially I want to mention Hu Qing who helped us the most, thank you so much 🫰 Surely will recommend this place to my friends
The room was a little bit cold (December btw), but I guess it's overall problem of this region in general and not the hotel.

The room is clean and the hotel atmosphere is really nice and peaceful. Hotel picked us up from the train station and also dropped us which is very nice. All the staffs are very nice and helped us in every way they could. They also helped us bought tickets for the national park and dropped us off and picked us up when we were done. The hotel restaurant is unbelievably cheap and tasty. The dogs are super cute and friendly. They have some activities for guests to do if we are interested. The hotel is not so far from the east gate but since they are dopping/picking us up it doesn’t really matter. They are currently building something more on top of the mountain when they are done it would be amazing to come and stay here again 🤗
P.s. they have various type of breakfast including noodles I was mindblowed.

I have been 2 times in Zhangjiajie and this hotel was the best one, best services, clean room exactly like the photos, excellent food and they help you to buy all tickets and can also drive you to the attractions. Cute dog and cat
