Zhangjiajie Liangshuiwan Yumanju Homestay

This newly opened hotel has excellent facilities, pricing, service, and location! I especially appreciate the owner's dedication and professionalism. Before our trip, they called the hotel to help us take a video and secure our room and plan our itinerary for Zhangjiajie. We took a ride from Sangzhi Station for ¥35 to the hotel, which is located in a large town. Upon arrival, the owner recommended restaurants in town. We ordered a special beef trotter for ¥89, which was so filling we couldn't finish it! We then strolled around town and bought snacks at the "Snacks Are Busy" restaurant for lunch before our hike the next day. For breakfast the next day, we ordered beef noodles for ¥10 and wontons for ¥8 in town. The owner then drove us to the north gate of Zhangjiajie Scenic Area, a little over 10 minutes away. Before entering, he took us to buy raincoats and shoes for ¥10. On the way back, he picked us up at the south gate and took us back to the hotel. There was no turning back. Dinner at a different restaurant in town included two stir-fried meat dishes, a braised dish, and five barbecue skewers, totaling around ¥80. We went during the May Day holiday, the peak season for tourism, and the overall experience was very smooth. There was no waiting in line, no unreasonable charges, and the stay was clean and pleasant. The owner was so nice, so I'm leaving a serious review to express my gratitude and for reference for other friends who are going to Zhangjiajie.
