Hotels in Hengqin Island, Zhuhai

We love the idea that this hotel is connected to a huge indoor park, hence we booked the biggest room 1774 for parents and kids, which was said to be 70sqm. However, when entering the room, we found the room is too small, looks more like a 35-40sqm. Then we walked to the balcony and that's explained, the balcony was quite big, surrounding the whole area; however, it's completely filthy & moldy, covered with thick layer of dust, seems like nobody ever vacuum or mop it. I dropped something on the floor and it rolled under the electric sofa, guess what I found? 2 big pieces of food on a stained carpet. There's something looked so disgusting 🤢 on the drainage in the bathroom that I didn't dare to take a close photo. The toilet seat is crooked. Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful, good location. Plus point: can watch fireworks to the fullest from the balcony. Honestly speaking, we did have good time despite the unhygienic room. Hopefully this poor hygiene was just due to overwhelming peak season.

Quite convenient. Room and breakfast was really good! Loved the outdoor swimming pool. There is a shuttle bus but you need to make reservations via Wechat.

The bed is very comfortable ! Staffs are friendly . And it is such a great deal including two theme park tickets for two . Good to dinner next to the cute penguin 🐧. Wish it is cleaner , but understand it is for email with toddler so lot of food stains at most seats and rugs . Next time would like to try the newer spaceship hotel?

Our stay at Chimelong Hengqin was excellent. The package we booked includes breakfast buffet, unlimited access to the Ocean Kingdom for two days, 1 night with 1-way yacht ride to or from the hotel. It also includes Chimelong show ticket for two. We booked this hotel for my birthday and it was a really great stay. We booked the Starlight room for us to see the fireworks display at night from our room. It was wonderful and the fireworkds display lasted for fifteen minutes. We had an excellent time. The only downside was that the frontdesk can’t speak English really well so she weren’t able to answer our questions regarding ocean kingdom passes, show schedule, etc. She didn’t give us an Ocean Kingdom map together with the tickets so we wasted a lot of time finding out the show schedule on our own. The assigned reception lady failed to direct us to go to the hotel lounge where our complimentary refreshments await. We learned about it only after we checked out by staying there while waiting for our car pick-up. There are two wings in the hotel: Seahorse and Dolphin. For the breakfast, we were informed to go to seahorse wing but our buffet is called “Dolphin Buffet”. We had to go back to the main lobby to ask where to go exactly.🤣🤣 Travel tips for foreigners visiting this hotel: Always have your translator app ready. Do your research and read other reviews thoroughly to know how to get around. The hotel itself is so huge. Going from one place to another takes some time. From 9-10am, the buffet area is packed and sometimes you are to be on queue for noodles, changfan, waffles and some others. Have breakfast early.😇

The reception staff was wonderful and very helpful with directions and places to visit. Great location to go visit Macao as the border is only 10 minute Didi ride away. Room was spacious and bathroom was phenomenal, big wide shower and bathtub. Definitely would stay there again.

The overall design of the homestay is the Japanese minimalist style that I particularly like🌹 There are many beautiful flowers and plants planted in the garden, and there are also many beautiful flowers in the house. It can be seen that the proprietress is a very romantic hostess, full of a strong sense of happiness🌸 The room is clean and tidy, and the housekeeper speaks with a strong hometown accent, which feels very friendly😉 The proprietress is very enthusiastic and provides free loving nutritious breakfast in the morning💗, as well as delicious hand-brewed coffee☕️ My friends had a great experience after checking in👍👍👍

When I first stepped into the Wutong Tree Hotel, I encountered a convenient experience that was just right. The hustle and bustle of the city passed by quickly outside the car window, while the hotel was like a carefully crafted quiet harbor, gently embracing the dusty travelers with its extremely superior geographical location. The shuttle vehicles and the well-connected transportation network closely connect this place with every wonderful place in Macau. Without a long journey, you can immediately integrate into the pulse of this city. The moment you open the door, the spacious and bright space is like a slowly unfolding painting. Soft lights are scattered in every corner, and the simple yet luxurious decoration style makes people instantly relieve the fatigue of the journey. Here, every detail seems to tell of refinement and comfort, from soft bedding to carefully placed decorations, all of which make people feel comfortable. What is even more surprising is that the check-in process is so smooth and fast. The warm smile and efficient service of the staff Miranda are like a gentle breeze, blowing away the anxiety of a new arrival. I thought I would regret missing the breakfast reservation, but I didn't expect that there is a vast galaxy of delicious food hidden in this building. From exotic specialties to exquisite and tempting desserts and snacks, the dazzling array of choices is overwhelming. Every step of exploration is like opening a wonderful adventure for the taste buds. The surprises on the tip of the tongue come one after another, and I just realized that this is a paradise for food lovers. Walking through the entire building complex, the invisible network signal is like a soft silk thread, quietly connecting every corner.

Innovation workshop cost-effective ”Apartment”. Reception is located on the 13th floor, and will send the room number and password after adding WeChat, which is very convenient. There is an entrance directly to lift on the 2nd floor of Innovation Square. If you go to Innovation, you will stay.

This was our first trip to Chimelong Zhuhai, and we booked a three-day, two-night package through Trip.com. The package included hotel accommodation, breakfast buffet, dinner buffet for one night, unlimited access to Ocean Kingdom and the spaceship, as well as tickets to the international circus. We had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed every show, each offering a unique experience. Last year, we visited Thailand and had to explore multiple locations for similar entertainment, so we were pleasantly surprised to find everything in one place at Chimelong. The shows included killer whale performances, beluga whale displays, adorable animal shows, and mesmerizing mermaid dances, among many others. Watching the international circus for the first time was mind-boggling! As an Indian family, we found the food options somewhat limited, but we made the best of it. The breakfast and dinner buffets had a great variety, though they were not tailored to Indian tastes. We also enjoyed the Kaka Theatre show on the last day of our stay, a mini kids’ circus that provided a unique experience, especially if you miss the international circus. As per the hotel room- The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, although they felt a bit dated, with some paint peeling and minor cleanliness issues. If these aspects were improved, I believe the hotel could easily provide a five-star experience. A special mention goes to Jialin, the receptionist who spoke English and was incredibly helpful. In Zhuhai, it was challenging to find English speakers, and we often relied on Google Translate for communication. Jialin went above and beyond by decorating our room for my daughter’s birthday, giving her thoughtful gifts, and presenting a small cake. These little surprises added to our memorable stay. Also she gave a room where we could view the 8pm firework and drone show. Thank you to all the staffs of Chimelong and everyone involved in the circus and shows. We appreciate your efforts and may visit again in the future!

The service apartment location is very convenient where the lift is accessible via the carpark and shopping mall. There is electric vehicle charging too.  Room is clean and convenient stores like 7-11 nearby but no too much eateries as there is not much crowd in the mall.
