The Hangzhou Cherry Blossom Festival is about to begin! As spring approaches, Hangzhou is about to enter a season of "blooming flowers." Here are some of the best places to view cherry blossoms in Hangzhou:

1. Prince Bay Park
Prince Bay Park is one of the most popular places to view cherry blossoms in Hangzhou. In addition to cherry blossoms, there are also large fields of tulips. With these two popular flowers blooming at the same time, the scenery is very charming. The cherry blossoms in the park are mainly concentrated in the areas around the Hand-in-Hand Statue, the Welcome Pavilion, and the Fanghuai Pavilion, making it a great place to take photos.

2. Viewing Fish at Flower Harbor
As one of the Ten West Lake Scenic Spots, Viewing Fish at Flower Harbor is also a great place to view cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms here are mainly distributed in the western jungle area and on the side of the Red Fish Pond. The flower colors range from light red to pure white, like clouds and snow, making it an incredibly romantic spot.

3. Quyuanfenghe (Breeze-Rustled Lotus In Quyuan Garden)
Quyuanfenghe (Breeze-Rustled Lotus In Quyuan Garden) is a popular spot for viewing cherry blossoms by West Lake. The cherry blossoms here complement the classical garden architecture, especially after sunrise, when the cherry blossoms in the sunlight are even more beautiful. The scenery in the park changes with each step, and the cherry blossoms bloom along the stream, contrasting with the newly sprouted willow trees.

4. Bin Jiang Cherry Blossom Avenue
Bin Jiang Cherry Blossom Avenue is Hangzhou's "most beautiful runway," with more than 3,000 cherry blossom trees planted along the river embankment, making you feel like you are in a pink sea of flowers. It is not only suitable for walking, but also for cycling, so you can enjoy the cherry blossoms while admiring the river view.

5. Liang Zhu Cultural and Art Center
The Liang Zhu Cultural and Art Center is famous for its cherry blossom season. More than 100 Somei Yoshino cherry trees are planted here. At the end of March every year, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, various cultural and artistic activities are held, such as exhibitions, dramas, movies, and cultural and art fairs.

6. Ma Nao Temple
Ma Nao Temple is located at No. 17, Geling Road. The cherry blossoms here are known for their artistic conception. Several old cherry trees are taller than the houses, and you can see the full spring scenery from a distance. At the end of the cherry blossom season, you can also take beautiful "cherry blossom snowstorms" in front of the Yayan Library.

7. China National Tea Museum
The cherry blossom trees at the China National Tea Museum are distributed in the Shuangfeng Pavilion area. The cherry blossoms here complement the tea gardens. When the wind blows, the petals fall, creating a scene of "falling flowers," making it one of the best places to view cherry blossoms.

8. Hangzhou Cherry Blossom Garden
Located in Pingyao, the Hangzhou Cherry Blossom Garden has more than 60,000 cherry blossom trees of more than 30 varieties. The early cherry blossom varieties, such as the Tsubaki cold cherry and the Kawazu cherry, have already bloomed. The best viewing period is from mid-March to April.

9. Su Causeway
Su Causeway is dominated by peach blossoms and willow trees, but the beauty of the cherry blossoms lies in their embellishment. The largest and most beautiful cherry blossom tree on Su Causeway is located next to Kuahong Bridge. The cherry blossom tree branches extend towards the lake like clouds, complementing the water surface.

10. Miji Village
Miji Village is a famous cherry blossom village in Lin'an District, with a large number of Chinese red cherry blossoms planted. In 2025, a cherry blossom tourism festival was held here, with a variety of activities, including falling cherry performances, horseback riding, and spring gatherings.

Shanghai Cherry Blossom Viewing | The Yoshino cherry trees at Chenshan are in full bloom, keep this guide handy

| The Yoshino cherry trees at Chenshan are in full bloom, keep this guide handy.🤩🤩🤩 I never expected that two years later, I would catch up with the mid-blooming cherry blossoms at Chenshan again, which shows it was meant to be~ 🌸🌸🌸 In my opinion, Chenshan is the ultimate cherry blossom spot in Shanghai. However, after seeing the early blossoms last year, the weekend crowds dampened my enthusiasm😔. This year, I was hesitant about whether to go cherry blossom viewing and where to go. The women's welfare at my workplace includes a half-day off in March that I haven't taken yet, and April is approaching.😜 Fortunately, this year's blooming period is a week later, let's go see the cherry blossoms! 🚗🚗🚗 I wanted to go to Gucun for convenience, but my daughter prefers Chenshan. I checked and found that the Somei Yoshino cherry trees were 50% in bloom, and they are expected to be in full bloom this weekend, so we went off-peak on Wednesday afternoon😘. 📅 Shooting date: March 27, 2024 💰 Scan to buy tickets: Adult ticket, 60 yuan/person; Student ticket, 30 yuan/person 🅿️ Parking navigation: No. 3888 Chenhua Road, Songjiang District, Shanghai (Gate 1) 🚇 Public transport: Sheshan Station on Metro Line 9 —— Bus 95 🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃 Upon entering the park, I was still stunned by the spring scenery. It was forecasted to rain all day, and the park was filled with casual cherry blossom viewers, with few commercial shoots. Although the flowers were not fully bloomed, the slightest bit of sunshine☀️ made the mood especially pleasant. 💌 Photo outfit tips: 1. Try to choose solid-colored clothing👗, which will complement the pink cherry blossoms nicely. This time I wore a trench coat🧥, I personally prefer comfortable everyday outfits. 2. Since the flowers were not fully bloomed, we brought a📸 long-focus 70-200mF2.8 lens. The compression effect of the long-focus can make the flowers appear denser, making the photos look more thematic and aesthetically pleasing. 3. As for the shooting location... let's be a bit Versailles, it's easy to take pictures with no people around wherever there are fewer people. I must recommend the bus station🚏, the area nearby is easy to capture wide scenes without people.

The only downside: Only available in Hangzhou | West Lake Cherry Blossom Viewing Route

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cherry blossoms in Moshan, Hangzhou are about to bloom. After photographing cherry blossoms for 5 years, I've organized a cherry blossom viewing route around West Lake for everyone. There are 10 places, all around West Lake, and each has its own charm. 1️⃣ Manao Temple A niche temple with hardly any tourists, there are several large cherry trees in the courtyard, very Zen. 2️⃣ Sudi The cherry trees on Sudi are close to the water, and you can also capture mandarin ducks playing in the water. 3️⃣ Quyuan Fenghe A classic spot, with ancient architecture surrounded by cherry blossoms. 4️⃣ Yunsong Book Residence A private garden built by Mr. Jin Yong, now open to the public, with beautiful reflections on the water. 5️⃣ Daise Siantian Besides the cherry blossoms near the bridge tunnel, there are also two large cherry trees next to the pavilion. 6️⃣ China Tea Museum There are many cherry trees here, and the thatched cottages are very distinctive. 7️⃣ Turtle Pool There are also many cherry trees at Turtle Pool, and there is a platform near Yanggong Dike that is great for taking photos. 8️⃣ Flower Harbor Park There are also quite a few cherry trees here, and it's more crowded with tourists. 9️⃣ Taiziwan Park Cherry blossoms and tulips bloom together, and there is also a large windmill. 1️⃣0️⃣ Hangzhou Children's Park The most beautiful cherry blossom staircase, with few people and beautiful scenery. 🌸 Photography & Travel Tips 1️⃣ The cherry blossom season is generally in late March, and the blooming period is short, so if you want to see the cherry blossoms, plan your trip in advance. 2️⃣ These cherry blossom spots are basically around West Lake, you can choose a few that interest you and visit them together. 3️⃣ Except for the Children's Park, which has an admission fee of 10 yuan, the other places do not require an admission fee. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Countdown to the full bloom of cherry blossoms in Hangzhou, sharing ten small cherry blossom viewing spots
Countdown to the full bloom of cherry blossoms in Hangzhou, sharing ten small cherry blossom viewing spots
1⃣ | 🌸 Liangzhu Big Roof In the morning, the cherry blossom path shrouded in mist is enchantingly picturesque. However, for me, the serene beauty of the cherry blossoms at night surpasses the bustling scene of the day. Under the night sky, the pale pink cherry blossoms interweave with the warm white lights to form a quietly beautiful scroll. 2⃣ | 🐟 Flower Harbor Watching Fish Just 500 meters from Prince Bay, this is a place where the breeze is refreshing and the fragrance of flowers is overwhelming. The beauty of cherry blossoms reflected on the water surface, with red carps swimming leisurely underneath, undoubtedly occupies the top spot in my heart for cherry blossom viewing! 3⃣ | 📚 Yunsong Book House This library, funded by Mr. Jin Yong, aims to provide a tranquil space for reading and creation. It seems like a hidden paradise, away from the hustle and bustle, and a gathering place for literary friends. 4⃣ | 🌸 Agate Temple Although there are not many cherry blossom trees here, they are tall and straight, complementing the classical garden and adding an elegant touch. The entrance to the temple is hidden in the depth, and one can easily miss the beauty within. 5⃣ | 🍃 Quyuan Fenghe No need to say much, the classic spots here are so coveted. The golden morning mist is heart-stirring. If you can't grab the best spot, try to capture a unique angle with a wide-angle lens through a small gap, but remember to be safe. 6⃣ | 🍵 Tea Museum In front of the wooden thatched house, cherry blossoms bloom like clouds and mist, with the babbling brook adding a touch of tranquility. Not far away, cherry blossom trees grow along the steps on the large lawn, creating a dreamy landscape. 7⃣ | 🏞 White Pagoda Park The place is bustling with people, but the scenery is ever-changing, featuring railways and green trains, making it extremely suitable for shooting fresh and natural portraits. 8⃣ | 🎢 Children's Park This is a paradise for children, with tall and magnificent cherry blossom trees in the central square, plus colorful climbing nets, slides, and other facilities, filled with childlike fun. 9⃣ | 🐢 Turtle Pond This niche secret spot has both early and late cherry blossoms, with few people and beautiful scenery, it is a treasure spot in my spring viewing route. 🔟 | 🌸 Binjiang Cherry Blossom Track Along the banks of the Qiantang River, nearly 2000 cherry blossom trees compete to bloom. It is recommended to start from the "Changhe Road" subway station, ride a shared bike, and roam along the Fuxing Bridge section. Continuing to share wonderful travel information from all over the country, welcome to follow and become a travel explorer together!
To avoid the crowds, let me secretly tell you about an off-the-beaten-path cherry blossom viewing spot in Hangzhou
Hangzhou in March and April is already brimming with spring warmth It's the perfect season for flower photography A few days ago, my social media was flooded with posts of the Binjiang cherry blossom trail I really wanted to go and check in But there were just too many people The landlady of the guesthouse recommended a less popular spot for cherry blossom viewing The Children's Park, where there are slightly fewer people I chose a nice sunny day A gentle breeze caressed my face, and cherry blossoms fluttered down Scenes from Makoto Shinkai's '5 Centimeters Per Second' immediately came to mind 🏕️: Hangzhou Youth and Children's Park 📍: No. 60, Hupao Road, Xihu District 🎫: 10rmb ⏱️: 8:30-16:30 🕹️Tips: 1️⃣Wear light-colored clothes, girls can choose pear blossom white or pink, it will make for better photos 2️⃣Try to go in the morning, there are fewer people than in the afternoon 3️⃣Find a companion to take photos with, because it's really beautiful You can also visit Taiziwan to take pictures of tulips, or Yuquwan and Turtle Pond, which are also off-the-beaten-path spots for cherry blossom viewing 4️⃣Selectively bring some props, like a clear umbrella, books, or a musical instrument for the photoshoot, it will make for great pictures
Although there was a rain last night in Hangzhou, the cherry blossom viewing strategy at the divine spot of Quyuan Fenghe can still be arranged
Although there was a rain last night in Hangzhou, the cherry blossom viewing strategy at the divine spot of Quyuan Fenghe can still be arranged
Late March in Hangzhou is filled with cherry blossoms everywhere. Apart from Hangzhou Children's Park, the most beautiful cherry blossom photo spot in Hangzhou has to be here. It is the Fuyu Shuiguan of West Quyuan Fenghe and its surroundings. Here is the cherry blossom viewing guide for Quyuan Fenghe 1. Distribution: The cherry blossoms in Quyuan Fenghe are mostly located in the Fukui Hangzhou Friendship Park, and along the banks of the Fuyu Shuiguan. Along the winding stream, cherry trees bloom competitively, like a pink ribbon, sprinkling the breath of spring all over the land. 2. Why it's worth visiting after the rain: These cherry trees intersect with the willows that have just sprouted new buds, creating a beautiful scene of 'the urgent spring wind, cherry blossoms and willows in the chilly rain' after the rain. 3. How to get there: There is no subway near Quyuan Fenghe. You can only take bus 277 or the Wulin Square-Lingyin Temple special line from Exit E of Fengqi Road Station on subway lines 1/2, and get off at Yuefen Station. Or ride a shared bike from Exit B of Fengqi Road. Do not drive yourself. Beishan Street is very congested. 4. Blooming period: This year it lasts until April 3rd. The flowers are not very obvious in the photos, but actually, there are still many flowers present. 5. Time for sightseeing: 1 hour. Remember to avoid the crowds and arrive before 9:00 AM. 6. Nearby attractions: The Broken Bridge, Bai Causeway, Gushan, Yue Temple, Hangzhou Flower Nursery, Guozhuang 7. Sightseeing tips: You can enter from the direction of Yue Temple and exit at Hangzhou Flower Nursery. This way, you won't have to backtrack and you can also see the Zhanbi Tower. Don't miss the stone bridge spots along the way, at this time you can capture the dynamic scene of falling flowers, which is very artistic
