First time experiencing rock climbing at Krabi! It was so much fun especially when the guide is nice! Would really recommend going to find the store “Shadow Rock Climbing”, you can see them pretty easily when you have arrived at Krabi. They are located right beside a convenient store. The guide was so friendly and funny, he had so many stories to share with us and helped us took really nice photos too. Never a moment of silence, full of laughter 😂 when we were with the guide! He also made sure we were safe when taking those hanging photos and really assured my girlfriend since she is afraid of height. 😌 The guide knows how to speak many languages too, so do not worry about language barrier. Pricing was pretty good for all these nice photos taken and the adventure we went through! 💖 #shadowrockclimbing

However, the Instructor is patient, friendly and skilful who you will put 100% trust when carrying out the activity with them. The professional instructor played a huge factor to ensure that we had a good time.

Do pay a visit to this beach if you are in Krabi! Just take a boat trip from Aonang that costs 200 baht for two-ways ticket. It’s much more smaller that Aonang beach but you can get much more of the nature views. Look for Railay Rock Climbing to try out rock climbing in Railay beach. It’s perfect for beginners as the coach is very encouraging and experienced, he would give a step-by-step instructions and trust me, you would be hooked ! There are 3 routes for you to try on. Another good point is that this rock climbing school would bring you to the cave that has an amazing bird eye view of the whole beach. Although the climb is quite challenging but it’s totally worth it ! Not forget to mention, the coach is also a professional photographer as he would tell you how to pose, what to look out for so solo travellers would get nice pictures too! Krabi, Thailand is one of the world's best places to learn how to rock climb. You can climb year-round in Railay and Tonsai in Krabi. Scale the iconic limestone cliffs and rock faces. Even when it is raining, there are sheltered climbing walls where you won't get wet as you climb. However, it gets extremely hot during the months of April and May. November to March is the best time for climbing as the weather is both dry and warm. From Ao Nang Beach it's a quick longtail boat ride to Railay Beach. Boats run all day, and the beautiful boat ride from Ao Nang takes about 15 minutes. It's 100 Baht per person at the moment, randomly more after it gets dark.
