Price performance is great, good location, low price with breakfast and dinner, room is big. BUT, a big but is hotel is very old , like in the 80s, very dark in the building like ghost will come out. Furthermore , NO wifi! This is probably the style of this group hotel. I stayed in other hotel of universal, some better some worse. I will still recommend it
◾️Summary
Great location, but not having breakfast would have been better.
◾️Conditions
・Stayed on a weekday in February
・One night for one person, total cost about ¥7,100.
◾️Location
・Conveniently located right next to Shimane Station
◾️Service
・No particular complaints about the service.
◾️Amenities
・The amenity bar had everything you'd expect.
・There didn't seem to be any water.
・Drink service was provided at the front desk (including alcohol).
◾️Room: Super Room, non-smoking.
・The room seemed reasonably clean.
・The bunk bed room was the cheapest, so it was unnecessarily large.
・Humidifier provided.
・WiFi worked.
◾️Breakfast
[Time] I visited around 8:30 AM on a weekday.
[Crowdiness] There were about three other guests.
[Taste]
Since it's considered a free breakfast, it was quite basic.
Rice (Dashi Chazuke)
Shijimi Soup
Simmered Sukiyaki
Grilled Salt-Grilled Mackerel
Teriyaki Chicken
Tofu Hamburger
Dashimaki*
Yogurt
Aloe Vera
Bread
The clam soup was the best.
Since there weren't many dishes, I thought it would have been better to serve the food on regular plates instead of buffet plates so that it would look more attractive.
Personally, I would have preferred the 500 yen discount and the room-only plan.
[Service][Atmosphere]
No wet towels provided.
At the end, you have to separate and return your dishes, just like at school lunches, which I didn't like from a hygienic standpoint. The lack of wet towels makes this all the more noticeable.
The hotel is good, (I met a Fujian counter lady who gave a clear guide)
Although it’s about 27 minutes’ walk from Songjiang Station, it’s a bit far, but it’s OK for me.
To get to Izumo Taisha Shrine, it only takes about 10 minutes to walk from Kokoriko Onsen Station.
First, there is an amenity bar at the front desk.
There is an amenity request form there.
The facilities are also unparalleled.
I live in another building and the room is very clean.
The bathtub in the room is big enough
For baths, there is a large public bath.
The large bath is large and considering the time, few people use it, so it is very comfortable.
Or rather, I didn’t see anyone.
Located on the top floor of the main building with great views.
I decided to stay at this hotel, which even has bikes for rent!
And it's free! !
Just opposite Izumo-shi JR station and walk 3-5 mins from Izumo-shi dentetsu station.
Super easy to check in and check out. I used the machine there. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The location, cleanliness and space are all very good, but the information on Trip.com is not complete with pictures and text, because this hotel does not include hot springs. If I knew that there was no hot spring at this price, I would choose DormyInn next to the station. This time, due to the misleading information, the stay experience was greatly reduced.
Environment: There are many restaurants nearby, just next to the train subway station.
Hygienic: very clean
Facilities: Also very good, although the room is a bit small
Service: Breakfast is a bit simple, and it is cleaned up immediately after the time, and a bread is not eaten, although it has not been completely put away, and it is not allowed to eat! This is a bit strange.
The hotel is very hygienic, the room is the right size, the bathroom is very clean and easy to use, and the toiletries are complete. The service is good and the breakfast is delicious. The garden must be beautiful. Sitting in the restaurant to enjoy the food, enjoying the courtyard scenery of the uniquely dry river in Japan, it is really a special enjoyment.
Near JR Izumoshi Station, 5 minutes walk
The room is spacious and quiet, the bed is clean and comfortable
The bath is clean and comfortable, the instructions are clear, and the elevator outside the bath is equipped with a small loan card for guests to use.
The front desk staff was kind and friendly, patiently explained the hotel facilities and rules, there is a self-service counter next to it, tea, coffee, daily necessities are provided
Breakfast is rich and delicious

Amazing
Kkusogaki123I stayed here to watch a basketball game. It's the closest to the venue and the station, so it's great for walking around town. Above all, I was impressed that Away Booster had prepared a corner in the lobby with the mascots of the opposing team as a welcome gift for today's game day. I recommend this hotel to Away Boosters who are coming to watch a B-League game.
RREI YSIt’s really a very good hotel. I didn’t expect anything from Shimagen, but from the beginning of landing at Izumo Airport, all the way to the hotel, I met very warm and friendly people. The staff of the bridge management were very enthusiastic and responsible. The design and facilities of the hotel can be said that I have lived in the top three in all Japanese hotels. The design is obviously very attentive, convenient and practical, not fancy, simple and generous, and the room is really clean. The hotel is on the right hand side of the station and the traffic is convenient. The reception staff at the front desk were not only enthusiastic and patient, but also specially printed the Chinese version of the hotel guide, moved, great praise! ! !
GGuest UserPerfect hotel for those traveling by public transport around Japan -- so convenient to walk right out the door to the station :). As mentioned by other reviews, facilities and free foood are fantastic -- in additional to the bathing spaces, there are a number of lovely sitting areas spread across the building to work in. Room was clean and up to standard albeit on the smaller side and staff is friendly and helpful!
RRaymondTo be honest, the location of the apartment is not bad, and it is very convenient and easy to locate. The only thing to criticize, if you are asking me, is that it is so close to the traffic which cause a bit of noise. It is clean and tidy and have most of the daily necessities. We loved the cooking utensils especially the heating plate.
There are lots of restaurants and very need to Lawson. A great place to stay! 😄😃👍👍👍
GGuest UserThe room is lovely, a cozy traditional tatami style. It's managed by locals, so that's really nice. I kinda regret not getting a place closer to the center. It's 30 minutes walk from the train station (with some sights along the way). There is a local bus (Google maps seems to be on point with it) but it doesn't drive all that often. There is however a great Onsen 15 minutes walk from the hotel. I do reccomend that. :)
YYolkieThe location is excellent, which is exact as the name across Matsue station. The staff from the front desk are very nice. You can pick up some daily necessities near the front desk (e.g. toothbrush, comb, teabags). I can open a 30 inch luggage and still have reasonable space in my room. The public bath is a bit small but cosy. It is worth to give a try if you wish to stay in Matsue overnight.
