Phurua Khiri Hotel is a hotel surrounded by nature. There are green rice fields during the rainy season. Very suitable for going on vacation. Anyone passing through Phu Ruea Dan Sai or Muang Loei can stay there. The accommodation is clean, uses grade A materials, relatively new, suitable for traveling as a family as well. There are rooms for families to stay.
Remote from village but quiete, well managed older property with atmosphere, infinity pool and wonderful sunset.
The is a typical Thai Hotel on the countryside: even it doesn't look like it's more a booth construction than concrete walls (no noise isolation to outside, neighbours). Also it shows its age (potenially from 1990ies). However a itwasn't fully booked in late October so we could really enjoy this place with atmophere and a great sunset.
Breakfast mainly for Asian (Thai) customers but this is everywhere on those remote from mass tourism places.
Absolutely recommended for reasonable rates 1300-1500 THB (oldschool Thailand experience). Restaurant at re
The room was clean. The caretaker provided good service. I can't remember the name of the room. There were 2 bunk beds in the room and a bathtub. The kids loved it. However, the room was not soundproof and I was very concerned about the neighbors.
Lovely accommodation, opening the room is very fragrant. Everything smells like any sheets. Location next to the Mekong River, near walking street 3 km.
The accommodation is very good.. I chose this place because I could walk down and it was right on the walking street. The staff provided very good service and the food was delicious, especially the sticky rice with grilled chicken. But on the day I went, my neighbor was so noisy that I couldn't sleep.. But if I have a chance, I will go again.
First they give us a room where the door to the public terrace can't be closed. Than they want to fix it with screws - no opening of a door or window.
At least we got a room with fitted doors.
But no hot shower, only cold water.
Near to the night market is an advantage.
The pool is too small for so many rooms and was overcrowded.
Breakfast was ok but not special.
- Minimal hotel, beautiful, soft bed, cold air conditioner, a bit narrow room
- The hotel entrance has only one way traffic, parking is in another alley. When checking out, a car was parked blocking the exit, so it took almost 20 minutes to drive out. I called the hotel 5-6 times but no one answered. I had to walk around back to the hotel again. Then the staff followed the car owner to move it for me.
- Not impressed with the breakfast. I got a coupon. The restaurant I went to eat at was almost at the end of the walking street. There were a lot of people. The set said that I would get rice soup, fried dough sticks, coffee, but I only got rice soup. The restaurant said I had to pay extra for everything else. I sat next to the restaurant. The smell was not good.
- Amenities in the room include a TV, air conditioner, bed, small refrigerator, 4 bottles of water, soap, shampoo, shower cap, slippers. There is no dressing table. There is only one mirror in the bathroom. If there are only two of us, we have to wait to put on makeup in the bathroom. It takes a long time. It is not very convenient.
- The space in the room is very narrow. You have to walk slowly or your knees will hit the edge of the TV counter when you get on the bed. There is no view to see, but it is close to the walking street.
- The staff provided good service and were helpful throughout.

CCharlie51MBooked Superior Villa with breakfast for 2night stay. Villa was well furnished, Tv with tv box, wifi, kettle, coffee & tea bag provided as well, washroom was big & toiletries provided. Only short coming is telephone not working in all rooms. Need to walk to reception for assistance. Resort was well located with a hill top restaurant serving adequate breakfast. Lunch & dinner menu also not expensive not to mention the good view overseeing Mekong river and Laos border. Last but not least very close to all tourist attractions. Sunrise viewing at Phu Tok, Kaeng Khut Kru just 10 to 15 min drive.
FFoo Sze WongChiang Khan is a small river town with the magic of the Mekong river bringing visitors from far and near. With that, prices are exorbitant. Supposedly our room was for 4 persons but we used only one king size bed. The bedsheets were badly stained and we used the lesser of the two dirty ones. Mini Fridge didn't work and we asked for a replacement but it didn't work either. Bathroom was dirty at the corners and we wore slippers while bathing. Aircon was noisy but cold enough. Aarrgg..not coming back here again even for free.
GGuest UserWe booked 4 rooms with the gang. I sleep alone and I have dyed hair. But in the bathroom, there is still black hair near the bathroom door. I'm not sure if the cleanup is not in time or what, but it's not an obstacle. I just feel that it shouldn't be there. The location is very close to the market. The room is not big. The usable area is small. It's really suitable for sleeping only. The water flows strongly. The light is normal. There is no glass bathroom door between the shower and the toilet (but there is a glass wall). The TV signal is not very good, so I didn't turn it on. But the Wi-Fi is very strong. I took my laptop to watch a movie. The staff provided good service. They called at 11 am to inform that the housekeeper would come to clean at 11:30. It's good that we made an appointment to check out at this time. If we really checked out at noon, I'm not sure if there would be a problem (the system said check out at 12:00). And for the breakfast coupon, I didn't have time to use it because the restaurants in that area will have a break during the day and open again in the evening. If I checked out at 11:30, I wouldn't be able to eat in time. For those who want to use this privilege, I recommend waking up early to eat.
GGuest UserI went to take the exam for further studies. The room was very nice. There was a swimming pool and a fitness center with a beautiful view. Then that day, my friend got hit by a car and the hotel took him to the hospital without charge. And that day there was no transport back to the hotel, so the hotel came to pick us up without any charge. And the hotel was very kind and even volunteered to take us to the exam at the university. Thank you to the senior officers. Thank you to the manager who took care of me like a businessman. Thank you for your kindness. Finally, what I want to say is that we passed the exam. Yay seniors, the manager is one of the people who make us... I have taken one step forward. Thank you. 🙇♂️🙏
OOn The Road AgainNice little hotel with quaint garden. The owner speaks passing English and has a friendly fat dog. My bed was good even though I prefer softer. A little far from the town center but it’s walkable maybe one kilometer. This is a tourist town but I was there in the off season so not many people around. But it’s a beautiful area to visit.
GGuest UserThe place is located in the center, which is easy to walk around and enjoy a single moment in the city. A hotel itself is very nice and comfortable. However, it would be very helpful if you can provide instruction on the parking area, which would be save time and easy for guest to find the parking. All others service are perfect.
JJohnstonEricNice hotel in its day. But a little dated and tired now.had a deluxe room which was very big and clean. Very few people staying there, so very quiet The food as very delicious. The swimming pool and gym are situated away from main hotel and very quiet. Nice if you want a quiet stay. Lovely gardens to walk around
GGuest UserThe room was incredibly affordable and offered excellent value for money. The service was superb. It was clean, well-maintained, and quiet. Overall, it was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!
