We arrived a little after 5 PM, and being in the heart of the real wilderness was so thrilling! The room was a tent-style lodge, which was more spacious and comfortable than expected. Electricity was solar-powered, so charging devices was possible, but hairdryers were a no-go ⚡. As soon as we unpacked, a warthog casually strolled past our tent—what a surprise! 😂 At night, we fell asleep to the sounds of hyenas, and in the morning, we woke up to zebras wandering right in front of the terrace. It truly felt like spending a night in the middle of a wildlife documentary. The lodge also had a swimming pool and buffet-style meals 🍽️. Day 1: Safari welcome to Tarangire National Park (2850 square km), one of the most famous homes for the wild animals especially elephants. it houses other animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, impala, eland, gazelle etc. we were told that the fierce predators such as in lion, leopard, & cheetah are common here, but unfortunately during our 8hrs tours, none of them were anywhere in sight. we were quite disappointed but hoping to spot them tomorrow our guide told us that elephant drinks up to 50gallons (200lit) per day! wowww thats just like a lake to me to finish. we had soo much fun here #safari #nationalpark

After the safari, Bato dropped us off at our hotel, where Ben was waiting for us again. He took us to a local restaurant for dinner, providing a lovely conclusion to our trip before our onward journey. For anyone planning a similar adventure: remember that you’ll be staying in tented camps, so pack warm clothes as the nights can get unexpectedly chilly. It’s also a good idea to bring clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dusty. Additionally, pack a small bag with essentials for the safari, as vehicle space is limited. You can safely store your main luggage at the hotel, making travel more convenient since you return there to retrieve it after the safari. The food throughout the trip was enjoyable, with daily dinners featuring beef, chicken, rice, potatoes, salads, warm soup, and breakfasts offering pancakes, eggs, coffee, and tea. When planning our trip, we emphasized that spotting wildlife and enjoying stunning landscapes were our top priorities. The itinerary matched this flawlessly: one day in Arusha National Park, two days in Tarangire National Park, three days in the Serengeti, and one day in the Ngorongoro Crater. We purposely chose a safari-focused journey and did not visit Zanzibar. Everything was meticulously arranged. We were especially impressed by how well-informed everyone was about food allergies. Eating gluten-free in Tanzania turned out to be easier than in many European countries! Each lodge had its own unique charm and character. They were all distinct but equally extraordinary and unforgettable. Our favorite was Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge, with its stunning views of the Serengeti and its inviting reception and dining area. A special mention must go to our guide, Hassan. He often spotted animals long before we did. Beyond his remarkable wildlife-spotting skills, he had excellent driving abilities and an intuitive understanding of what we valued most during our safari. Thanks to him, we fully enjoyed everything Tanzania has to offer. This was, without a doubt, the most impressive and unforgettable trip we have ever taken. We have absolutely no complaints about the organization.
