270km from Hanoi capital, 108km from Ha Long city, visitors can travel to Binh Lieu by motorbike or car. After arriving in Binh Lieu, from Binh Lieu town, drive towards Hoanh Mo on National Highway 18C about 3-4km, turn right into Ngan Chuong village, turn towards landmark 68 about 14km towards famous landmarks 1302 and 1305. From landmark 1302, drive another 9km to reach the "Dinosaur's Back" of Binh Lieu. This route is called "Dinosaur's Back" thanks to the uniqueness of the trails on the mountain top, connecting the landmarks together, forming a link like the back of a prehistoric dinosaur. This is also known as one of the most difficult routes to conquer in the North.

Top Spots to Visit: - Nui Cao Xiem: This remote gem is the top dog of Bình Liêu’s mountains—think rolling green hills, sea-of-clouds mornings, and panoramic views all the way to the Chinese border. The trailhead is about 30km from Luc Hon town, so start early! - The climb up Nui Cao Xiem isn’t for couch potatoes: pack water, grippy shoes, and snacks. It took about 2.5 hours up and just under 2 hours down—plan on 5 hours total to really soak it in and grab those wild, Instagram-perfect shots. Personal Tips: - Best time for the climb? Hit the trail at sunrise (around 5:30 AM). #holidayitinerary Dinosaur spine-Binh Lieu-Quang Ninh, going to BL this season is great, no heat, cool weather, you won't lose strength. We drove from Hanoi at 3pm, arrived in BL at 7am, the Hanoi-Ha Long highway was beautiful and deserted, the highway from Tien Yen to Binh Lieu was still beautiful, I chose to stay at Binh Son hotel for 350k/double room, clean, (because when we arrived it was already dark, there was nothing to eat around, luckily we brought sticky rice with ham to eat on the way, didn't use it so we had a full meal at night) At 7am we went out to have breakfast, the pork pho was also delicious, then typed in google maps the parking spot at milestone 1305, the concrete road was a bit winding with many hairpin turns but very beautiful, we walked and took pictures so we arrived at 8:30am, experience when climbing mountains we only brought water, juicy fruits, cookies... Windbreaker, colorful scarf to take beautiful pictures I have really been to many places but when sitting on the dinosaur's back looking at the sky I just realized I love my homeland more, it's so vast and majestic... having come this far, please try to go all the way to check in at milestone 1305.
