The setting is simple yet chilling environment for a good meal, they serve local Malaysian cuisine such as Nasi Lemak, Asam Fish, Pasta, Curry and even Hakka style dishes. It is also vegan friendly as they have a few vegan options. We ordered asam fish rice which is 11/10, the flavour is out of the world, sweet and a bit of spicy. The cafe looks pretty aesthetic with comforting western food. What I'm having here are from the 🥚 Eggcellent Breakfast menu, served every weekend from 9am - 3pm. 🍹 The drinks were recommended by the barista, not yet on the menu. One is a refreshing passion fruit tea while another is a rich coconut chocolate drink. Not very sure about the name but if you wanna try, just show this picture to the staff. ⭐ Would I recommend? 📍Rinjin Shokudo 隣人の食堂, Bukit Jalil One of the hottest Japanese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur and we decided give it a go! It was a Sunday dinner time at 630pm, we waited about 30min for our turn as it was quite packed. They recommended us the pork meat dishes as it is one of their signatures and also the tamago skewers which we see every table also ordered it. So I went with their recommendations and got ourselves the tamago skewer which was served cold with the mentai sauce on top, delicious! Our first main is the stir-fried pork slices with onions, it was light and not too salty. Second main is the Tonkatsu which is really juicy, we were impressed indeed!
