#uktrip There aren't words to describe the feeling you get from being here - you just have to go. The beauty, the scent, the peace and serenity, it is unrivalled. It's one of the most enjoyable days out if this is your kind of thing. Even if it isn't, go with someone you love and your souls will lift immediately. So much to admire, hyacinths to bring some aroma and plenty of photo opportunities. Staff are friendly, helpful and smiley - who wouldn't be working here?! The Dutch pancakes are delightful for a light lunch. There are lots of places to sit and take it all in too. Most people will help you take photos so that you and whomever you came with can all be on them!! Everyone is so cheerful, a rare occurrence in London, so it's wonderful to see people so happy here :) (Wear comfortable footwear as the ground is stony and very uneven around the flower stands. The fields themselves are also very uneven. Wheelchair users may need assistance to go around because of this). A superb day out worth every penny :)

It is very well laid out and run, but in my opinion, there were way too many people, which spoiled it; the website said it was low capacity when I booked for 1730, but at times, there were more people than flowers, a few choices for food Mashmellows 3 for £6, two cheeseburgers one fries and a coke £18.30 and nothing special and tad dried out, was also wood-fired pizza, Dutch pancake longest quqe & Greek van, we finished with ice cream 4 in total for £20.50. To end beautiful flowers but a victim of its own success, the crowds made it really off-putting for me, especially since it was late in the day and the weather wasn't sunny.

A Hidden Gem in Crawley Hey everyone! I just got back from a trip to Crawley, UK, and I have to say, Tilgate Park is amazing! I can't believe some people still don't know about it! As soon as I got off the plane, Tilgate Park, which is located near London Gatwick Airport, was ready to welcome me with open arms. As soon as I entered the park, I was immediately surrounded by 400 acres of vast land. As a Grade A nature reserve, everything here is so beautiful that you won't want to leave. I first plunged into the forest, where tall trees blocked out the sun. The thick layer of fallen leaves on the ground was soft and made a "rustling" sound as I walked on it, as if it were a unique welcome song from the forest. Further on, I came across a mirror-like lake, which reflected the beautiful scenery of the shore. Occasionally, a few ducks swam by, creating ripples and breaking the poetic tranquility. The English garden was even more exquisite, with its neatly trimmed greenery and colorful flowers, full of romance and elegance. But the park's treasures don't stop there. At Tilgate Nature Centre, I embarked on a wonderful animal adventure. When I saw the wolves, my heart was in my throat. They either strolled lazily or looked around warily, and their innate wildness was awe-inspiring. The owls, on the other hand, were adorable, with their round eyes curiously looking at the visitors, full of cuteness. What made my heart race the most was the Go Ape treetop adventure. After putting on my gear, I carefully embarked on my journey. I shuttled between ropes and jumped on treetops, and every step was full of challenges. When I stood at a high point and looked down at the entire park, my heart was filled with the joy of conquest. I will never forget that excitement and pleasure. At Tilgate Park in Crawley, I experienced the purest charm of nature. It not only has enchanting natural scenery, but also interesting recreational activities. If you also want a trip to escape the hustle and bustle and embrace nature, come here and experience this beauty for yourself. Trust me, once you step in, you will fall in love with it!

Walking Through a Sea of Tulips 🌷 | Our Family Day at Tulleys Tulip Fest. We visited Tulleys Tulip Fest during tulip season and it turned into such a lovely family day out. 💕 Seeing rows and rows of colourful tulips was beautiful, and even though the weather was a little grey, the flowers made the whole place feel so bright and cheerful. 🌷✨ We took our time walking through the flower fields, enjoying the views and stopping at some of the lovely photo spots along the way. 📸 The windmill, giant picture frame and pretty displays gave us some really sweet family memories. One tip from our visit: I highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes! 👟 There is plenty of walking around the fields, and depending on the weather, some areas can get a little muddy. Especially when visiting with children, comfortable footwear makes a big difference. I'd always wanted to walk through tulip fields. Amsterdam had been the original plan, but when that fell through I went looking for the closest thing in England and landed on Tulleys Tulip Festival, near Gatwick in West Sussex. Getting there by public transport was the hard part. Trains and buses don't connect neatly, so I'd budget far more travel time than the map suggests, and don't assume an easy onward link afterwards, especially if you're heading to the airport. If you can drive, parking is free for ticket holders, which makes the whole trip much simpler. I arrived late in the day with only about an hour before closing, which I wouldn't recommend. I paid around £25 and that felt steep for so little time. Standard tickets are usually lower if you book ahead for a weekday, so plan a proper few hours and the price makes far more sense. Even so, the fields delivered. Rows of tulips in dozens of varieties stretching into the distance, with a windmill backdrop that genuinely does evoke the Netherlands. Arriving near closing meant near-empty fields and soft late light, quieter and more peaceful than I imagine a midday weekend would be. Best for: flower lovers and photographers who can give it a half-day and ideally arrive by car. We arrived at half 10 They gave us complimentary early check in @12 instead of 3pm , we had a coffee and chilled in the lobby which was really chilled . Perfect for us ,10 /15 min drive from airport , we flew in early from Glasgow and have a long haul tomorrow so wanted something reasonably priced . Amazing value for money . Feels luxury , bed is so comfy will review food .
