Italian Crema
Crema is a delightful, understated Italian gem. Wandering Piazza del Duomo, I felt transported, with its elegant cathedral and historic buildings. The atmosphere is relaxed, a welcome change from bustling tourist hubs. The Sanctuary of Santa Maria della Croce, with its circular design, is architecturally stunning. I enjoyed leisurely strolls, savoring gelato and soaking in the local charm. It's a place where you can truly experience authentic Italian life, away from the overwhelming crowds. The town's connection to "Call Me By Your Name" adds a certain romantic allure, but Crema's inherent beauty stands on its own.

Iconic Movie Locations in Europe: Part 1
Ever wanted to step straight into your favorite films? Europe is filled with real-world locations that look just like the screen. Here are some of the most iconic movie settings you can actually visit:
The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014): The pastel-pink Wes Anderson masterpiece came to life inside the Görlitzer Warenhaus, a century-old art nouveau department store in Görlitz, Germany.
Amélie (2001): Step into Montmarte through Amélie’s whimsical lens, have a crème brûlée at Café des Deux Moulins, and visit the tiny grocery store Au Marché de la Butte in Paris, France.
Game of Thrones (2011–2019): The medieval city of Dubrovnik, Croatia became King’s Landing, the capital of Westeros, where you can walk the Jesuit Stairs ("Walk of Shame") or climb the city walls.
Interstellar (2014): Explore the dramatic, otherworldly terrain of the Svínafellsjökull Glacier in Iceland.
Harry Potter (2001): Alnwick Castle in England was Hogwarts in the first two films, specifically the courtyard where Harry learned to fly his broom for the first time.
Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (2002): Villa del Balbianello on Lake Como, Italy hosted the romantic scenes between Anakin and Padmé.
Call Me By Your Name (2017): Crema, Italy captures the golden summer atmosphere of the film, where you can visit Piazza del Duomo or cycle along the same country roads Elio and Oliver rode together.
In Bruges (2008): Bruges, Belgium is the film's star, featuring cobbled lanes, medieval towers, and misty canals that mirror the dark humor and melancholy of the movie.

Crema by Call me by your name!
📍 This trip is all about charming northern Italy: we’re covering the dreamy town of Crema, where Call Me By Your Name was filmed and the beautiful old city of Bergamo’s Città Alta. Trust me, these spots are totally worthy if you dream to visit where the movie was filmed, there's more than theses two spots of course but if you don't have much time this itinerary is easy to add to your summer trip to Milano 🇮🇹✨
Top Spots to Visit:
1. Crema
· Walk the cobbled streets where “Call Me By Your Name” was filmed. The city center is compact perfect for a chill daytrip.
Must-sees: Piazza del Duomo and the gorgeous cathedral (Piazza Duomo, daily 8am–7pm).
My tip:
· Go early for dreamy morning photos and people-free squares!
· Go to the tourist office and ask for the postcard! If you don't ask it they do not give it to you automatically ;)
2. Bergamo Città Alta (Old City)
· Jump on the funicular (Viale Vittorio Emanuele II, 8am-10pm) up to the walled medieval city fast and so worth it for the views. Wander the ancient lanes, visit the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore (Piazza Duomo, 7:30am–7pm), and don’t miss sweeping panoramas from Rocca di Bergamo.
My tip:
· Do not eat there, there's loads of tourist trap saddly, I'd recommend for you to do a picnic!
· If you really want to eat search for some good restaurants in the città bassa
· To get the funicular ticket use the atb app on phone it will be 2x less expensive ;)

good food for decent pricing
The food is incredible, and the coffee is the best I’ve had in a while. Pretty plates and food display, reasonable quantity so you don't feel horribly full once you finish eating. Delicate homemade pastries for dessert.
An incredible worldwide coffee selection : Cuba, Ethiopa, Colombia etc. The atmosphere is peaceful and a great space for working on your laptop. A special mention for the superb and peaceful terrace limited by a delicate match of a wood wall and a green art deco wall.
