[Korea] 3 Hanok Cafes You Should Visit When You Visit Korea ♡
① Starbucks Daegu Jongno Gotaek Branch
A must-visit Hanok Starbucks in Daegu ☕️
The entire Annyeong series, exclusive to Starbucks Korea, is available here, so it's also a great place to stop by for some merchandise!
② Onion Anguk
While popular with tourists and with several locations in Seoul, the Anguk branch offers a truly Korean atmosphere. ✨
No matter what you order, you won't be disappointed, but you should definitely try their most popular item, Pandoro!
It's loaded with sugar, but contrary to its appearance, it's light and easy to eat. 🤭
③ Milk Toast Ikseondong
A cafe serving piping hot toast steamed in a bamboo steamer. 🍞
A gentle aroma constantly wafts from the bamboo steamer into the warm interior. ♡
French toast is popular, but the chestnut and sweet potato toast is also highly recommended!
What did you think?
Cafe hopping is one of the best parts of traveling to Korea, isn't it? ♡
While it's fun to aim for trendy food and photogenic spots, why not also include a hanok cafe, a place you can only visit in Korea? 😊

Recommended accommodation in Daegu, South Korea 🇰🇷: Daegu Arirang Hanok Stay
Transportation: 🌹 Jungangro Subway Station 🚉, about a 3-5 minute walk from Exit 1 or 2.
Nearby: 🌺 Daiso, Olive Young, delicious pork soup ramen, shopping street, just one stop from Banwoldang.
Attractions: 🌸 Village Culture Museum, Gyodong Market, Yakryeong City Korean Medicine Museum, Jeongro-gu, Geumgwangseok-ro Mural, Giant Pine Stewed Ribs, Jongno Starbucks (Hanok) #DaeguHanok
I really like the renovation of old buildings; it preserves the original architectural style while integrating modern culture, making the scene stand out and maintaining its original charm.
The room was clean, with electric blankets in winter, underfloor heating, hot water, and a good hairdryer. The price was very economical; for two or more people sharing, it only cost around NT$500 per person.
I would stay here again next time.

🇰🇷 Daegu | This is definitely the most unique Starbucks I've ever been to ☕️
#November Destinations 2025
Starbucks Converted from a Century-Old Hanok
This Starbucks in Daegu is definitely one of the most worthwhile locations to visit! Converted from a Hanok with over 100 years of history, it perfectly preserves the traditional wooden beams, tiled roof, and courtyard design, seamlessly blending the charm of traditional Korea with modern coffee culture.
Stepping inside is a completely different experience from your average Starbucks—the spacious and serene Hanok space, coupled with warm lighting, creates a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for sitting, reading, or simply relaxing. The courtyard area is especially popular, with many people taking photos there.
Whether you're a Starbucks fan or not, a trip to Daegu is definitely worth taking a break to experience the charm of this "Hanok-style Starbucks."

ARMY's Busan to Daegu day trip🧳
It takes about 45 minutes by KTX from Busan to Dongdaegu Station (time may vary depending on the train).
As an ARMY, I've always dreamed of visiting Daegu, the hometown of my band members, and since my Korean has improved enough in recent years to be able to travel to the countryside, I decided to go! lol
This time, I mainly traveled by train from Dongdaegu Station, the closest station to the KTX, to the city center! The distances were even smaller than in Busan, making the pilgrimage relatively easy.
[Schedule]
① Yoongi's mural (around Myeongdeok Station)
→ Tae's elementary school [Daeseong Elementary School] (walk from Seomun Market Station)
→ Lunch at Seomun Market (a food stall visited by NCT WISH)
Enjoy the market's specialty, flat dumplings 🥟
→ Hanok Starbucks (20-minute walk from the market, about a 5-minute walk from Jungangno Station or Banwoldang Station)
→ Footbath experience at the Yangnyeong Market Museum of Oriental Medicine (reservations required on the day)
→ Stroll along Dongseong-ro
→ From Dongdaegu Station to Busan Station
This time, I was able to see everything I wanted to see in about 7 hours, but if I have the chance, I'd like to stay overnight. ☺️
By the way, I made reservations for the KTX in Japan to secure a seat on the weekend, but it wasn't particularly crowded. lol
Tickets may vary depending on the season, so it might be safer to purchase tickets in advance!
