I explored the Japanese Garden, Rabbit Park, Japanese tea house and horse-riding areas, so the weekend felt more like a mini adventure than just a hotel stay. Can you experience the best of Kuala Lumpur in just 24 hours? I say YES! 🙌🏻 Starting from Bentong, I took a bus into KL and spent the next 24 hours eating delicious food, shopping around Bukit Bintang, discovering a coffee spot, enjoying Chinese fine dining and ending the night with karaoke. 🎤 Here’s my save-worthy 24-hour KL itinerary if you’re planning a quick getaway! 📌 🚌 8:00 AM — Bentong → KL Took a bus from Bentong to Kuala Lumpur. ⏰ Around 1 hr 15 mins Arrived at Titiwangsa Bus Station, then walked about 3 minutes to the LRT. 🚇 Titiwangsa → Hang Tuah Easy, affordable and no need to worry about parking! 🥢 10:00 AM — DIM SUM BRUNCH 📍 Ting Shan Just a short 3–5 minute walk from Hang Tuah LRT. This place has a slightly more hotel-style dim sum restaurant vibe, and I came here mainly because I had one dish on my mind… 🔥 红米脆皮肠粉 THIS IS A MUST ORDER! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The crispy texture was SO addictive that I ended up ordering TWO plates. 😂 Also don’t miss: 🍠 Crispy Fried Yam Perfect start to the day — carbs first, sightseeing later. 🤭 🛍️ 12:00 PM — BUKIT BINTANG SHOPPING After brunch, walked back to Hang Tuah LRT and took the Monorail → Bukit Bintang. Cross the pedestrian bridge and you’ll reach Lot 10. Time to SHOP! 🛍️✨ 🇯🇵 DON DON DONKI @ LOT 10 If you love Japanese snacks, instant food, beauty products and all those “I don’t need this but I’m buying it anyway” things… 😂 You’ll love it here. Then walk over to: 👕 UNIQLO @ FAHRENHEIT88 One of the biggest Uniqlo stores around this area, so definitely worth a look. ☕ 3:00 PM — COFFEE BREAK 📍 ZUS Signature @ Fahrenheit88 After walking + shopping + carrying shopping bags… COFFEE TIME. ☕️ One thing I really liked about ZUS Signature is that the coffee beans are different from the regular ZUS Coffee outlets. And yes… The coffee tastes SO GOOD. 🤎 Pair it with a dessert and take a little break before the next adventure. 🍽️ 6:30 PM — DINNER WITH A TWIST 📍 Gongsi Took a Grab from Bukit Bintang to Gongsi for a special Chinese fine-dining experience. And if you ask me what you absolutely should order… 🥩 Sous Vide Pork with Ginger Sauce ❤️ MY FAVOURITE DISH OF THE TRIP. The pork was so tender and the ginger sauce was packed with flavour. If I went back, this is one dish I’d order again without hesitation. 🎤 9:00 PM — THE NIGHT IS STILL YOUNG! You thought the itinerary was over? #underratedspots Bidaisari Resort located at Kampung Janda Baik is truly a hidden gem with so much potential. Nestled among misty hills with cool, refreshing weather, the resort offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. A crystal-clear stream flows through the property, creating a soothing soundtrack with the chorus of frogs, toads, and insects, especially in the evening. Our water cottage was comfortable and charming, making the stay even more enjoyable. Do note that temperatures can drop to around 22°C at night, so the shower water may feel quite chilly. One of the highlights of the resort is its beautiful natural setting. There are countless picturesque spots, including quaint bridges crossing the stream, lush gardens, huge bamboo groves, unusual flowers, bird’s nest ferns, swans gliding on the pond, a stunning white peacock, and hens with their chicks. Every corner feels like a photo opportunity. For those looking for a little adventure, the ATV ride is another great attraction and adds to the overall experience. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of choices to suit different tastes. Bottom line: We genuinely loved our stay at Bidaisari Resort. The breathtaking scenery, cool climate, tranquil atmosphere, and unique natural surroundings make it a wonderful destination for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature. We would definitely love to visit again.

Most visitors head straight to the famous Chin Swee Temple, but this place gave me a completely different experience — quieter, more secluded and surprisingly majestic. ✨ One reason I think it doesn’t get as much attention is its location. The temple was only established around 2020, and reaching it feels like a little adventure itself. The access road is very steep, around a 45-degree descent in places, so I definitely took it slowly and carefully. The temple is grand and beautifully designed, surrounded by the natural mountain landscape. Hidden among the lush forests of Bukit Tinggi, Pahang, this unnamed tributary of Sungai Tanglir is one of those places that feels untouched by time. Fed by streams flowing from the surrounding highlands, the water here is remarkably cold, making every dip incredibly refreshing. The waterfall itself stands at around 10 meters high, with a beautiful vertical drop that crashes powerfully onto the rocky riverbed below.
