#itinerarycheck Found a spot with wine, grape yard and a carpark tree that stole my heart. Quick itinerary check: 1. Parking lot: Pull in, lose at least 15 mins staring at this insane purple jacaranda. Main character energy, I swear. 2. Tasting bar: Tried the house pour – dangerously crisp. One sip turned into a bottle in my bag. Oops. 3. Grape yard stroll: Wandered the vines at golden hour. Aesthetic ✅. Peaceful ✅. Kangaroos? No-shows, but I forgive them. 4. Dinner: No driving needed. Just head to in house brewery and you get food and craft brews. Service let us linger for hours. Verdict: Tree → wine → walk → feast. Perfect flow.

Homestead Brewery in Swan Valley is the ultimate chill spot for beer lovers and foodies on a budget! I dropped by for lunch and honestly, THIS place is all about laid-back vibes and gorgeous views. Picture this: wide, sun-drenched terraces, sweeping vineyards outside, and a modern-rustic interior that feels both cosy and stylish. #perthonbudget I went for the seafood pasta and let me tell you—sooo good! 🦐🍝 The portion was super generous, packed with fresh seafood and tossed in a sauce that’s just the right amount of rich without being heavy. If you're a fan of flavour, this dish is a win. The star of the show? Their craft beer tasting paddle! 🍻 Five different brews brought right to your table (yes, I felt fancy holding that tasting card LOL). From crisp lagers to hoppy ales, every brew had a personality. If you're new to craft beer, the tasting flight here is a must-try move. Service was upbeat and super friendly. Even though the outdoor area was buzzing, my food landed fast. You can tell the crew here loves what they do. Whether you’re vibing on the terrace, catching the sunset, or just want a relaxed meal, Homestead Brewery nails it. Our cider tasting at The Funk Cider was a refreshing and fun experience. From the moment we arrived, the lively atmosphere and rustic charm of the venue set the stage for a great time. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through a range of their craft ciders. Each one had its own unique flavor, from crisp, refreshing apple ciders to more adventurous blends with hints of pear and berries. It was fascinating to learn about their production process and the dedication that goes into creating each batch. We couldn't resist trying a few of the more experimental options, like the spiced apple cider, which had just the right kick. The tasting was casual and laid-back, allowing us to savor each sip and chat with fellow cider lovers. The Funk Cider really knows how to create a memorable experience, and by the end of it, we left with a bottle (or two!) to take home. If you’re a fan of craft drinks or just looking for a fun outing, a cider tasting at The Funk is definitely a must-do. #magicalxmastrip #travel #couplestrip #thingstodo
