Though I arrived five minutes before opening, there was already a line of about 20 people. Thanks to the spaciousness of the restaurant, I was able to enter on the first round and was shown to a cozy hearth-style seating area. Naturally, I ordered the signature "Premium Grated Daikon Soba." The soba noodles served were thick, rustic, with a rich aroma and a chewy texture. Topped with generous amounts of spicy grated daikon radish, the refreshing spiciness of the soy sauce-flavored broth really brought the dish together. The more I ate, the more refreshing it became, and I finished it in no time. As expected, eating Echizen Oroshi Soba in its original place was exceptional. The only regret was that I couldn't order a large portion. The perfection of the dish made me wish I could have enjoyed more of it.
