The Vanilla Islands, though all island nations, are rarely visited by Chinese tourists. Hidden in a vibrant corner of Africa, they are true secluded paradises in the Indian Ocean. 🏝️ With minimal development, clusters of wild and untamed landscapes, and a simple, devout population preserving their faith, these islands offer a chance to experience Earth's most pristine beauty, encounter wildlife up close, and savor the cultural essence of distant lands. 🗺️ After visiting the Vanilla Islands, we developed an island-hopping group tour. Surprisingly, the stunning sea views have become the least remarkable highlight. 👇 📌 Witness an "alien world" — Avenue of the Baobabs Located in Morondava, Madagascar, this avenue boasts 800-year-old baobab trees, with over 20 towering up to 30 meters. Driving through feels like stepping into an extraterrestrial realm. Madagascar is home to 7 of the world's 8 baobab species. 📌 Marvel at the "Underwater Waterfall" Though an optical illusion created by underwater terrain and sand flows, the aerial view is truly breathtaking. A 3,500-meter underwater cliff creates the illusion of a massive white waterfall plunging into the deep sea. 📌 Explore the "Lemur Paradise" — Andasibe Reserve This reserve is home to 11 lemur species. Paddle a canoe to Lemur Island for close encounters with brown lemurs, ring-tailed lemurs, dancing lemurs, and the adorable "panda lemurs." You may also spot Nile crocodiles, Angolan tortoises, and glowing nocturnal creatures among the diverse wildlife. 📌 Enjoy nearly 100% "swim-with-dolphins" success rate — Tamarin Mauritius' Dolphin Bay is the perfect spot to observe bottlenose dolphins up close. These friendly dolphins often appear in groups, and you can jump into the water to swim alongside them. If lucky, you might see hundreds of dolphins freely gliding through the water. …… A great destination deserves thoughtful arrangements, and our tour ensures you make the most of your trip. 👇 ✅ Two helicopter tours: one to view the underwater waterfall and another for a scenic flight around Réunion Island, showcasing ancient cirques, majestic waterfalls, deep ravines, mountains, lakes, and tropical forests. ✅ At least three sea activities: dolphin swimming in Réunion, a crab boat visit to Betania fishing village in Madagascar, and a glass-bottom boat tour in Seychelles to admire vibrant coral reefs and fish. ✅ Trek through Andasibe National Park to spot wildlife, drive through the baobab avenue at sunset, and explore three Seychelles islands (Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue) in one trip. ✅ Full Chinese-speaking guidance, all inter-island flights included, slow-paced and relaxing vacation with no backtracking. 📅 June 29 – July 19, 2025 (21 days, 19 nights) Seats are limited. Feel free to leave a 💬 or send a 📩 for more details.

Today I took a small plane from Antananarivo to Morondava, with a stopover in Toliara. Looking down at this magical island nation from high above, I was truly blown away by the wonders of nature! ✈️🌍 📍Kirindy Forest Address: 756C+3RR, Ambivy, Madagascar Opening hours: Open all day, year-round As soon as I landed, I rushed into the tropical dry deciduous forest and coastal spiny forest🌿. In this semi-wild environment, I encountered super cute red-tailed sportive lemurs and crowned lemurs! Seeing a lemur climbing nimbly between the trees—the movement was so smooth~ I was even able to feed them by hand, and the healing feeling was off the charts💖! There were also radiated tortoises strolling along slowly; the ecosystem here is just so rich! At lunch, the restaurant actually served vanilla ice cream🍦. The taste was incredible—a heavenly combination! ☁️ With rain and sunshine alternating, the sea of clouds and the rainforest switched in a second. Every frame of the photos I took is wallpaper-worthy📸~ Highly recommended for those who love nature adventures! Come to Morondava and get up close and personal with the lemurs! 🌿✨

You can experience a night tour to find nocturnal animals and chameleons, a very special experience. ② Andasibe: Rainforest lemur adventures ⭐️ Andasibe National Park: Home to the world’s largest lemur, the Indri, and also mini chameleons. Trek through the rainforest to track wildlife, full of adventure fun. ⭐️ Lemur Island / Vakona Private Reserve: Get up close and personal with lemurs! The lemurs here are used to humans, will jump on your shoulder, and you can even feed them, making for a fully immersive experience. ③ Nosy Be Island: Island paradise ⭐️ Nosy Be Island: If you want to see the sea, come here. The water is clear, the beaches soft, perfect for snorkeling and sea fishing. From June to September, it’s also the season for humpback whales, making whale watching an amazing experience. ④ Antananarivo: Capital city charm ⭐️ Queen’s Palace: A landmark building in the capital, a pink palace overlooking the entire French-style city. It’s great for photos or relaxing with afternoon tea at a scenic restaurant. 🚌【Classic Itinerary】 This 7-day route connects the highlights of baobab trees and lemurs, perfect for those with limited time who want to see the essentials! DAY 1: Arrive in Antananarivo (check into hotel to adjust to time zone, get a SIM card and exchange some cash at the airport) DAY 2: Antananarivo > Morondava (fly) > Baobab Avenue (shoot giant tree silhouettes at sunset, capture the Milky Way at night) DAY 3: Morondava day tour: Kirindy Reserve (search for the “dancing lemur”) or Betania fishing village (visit a traditional village to experience simple life) DAY 4: Morondava > Antananarivo (fly back) > City tour (visit Queen’s Palace, stroll Independence Avenue, soak in the capital’s history) DAY 5: Antananarivo → Andasibe (private car, about 3-4 hours) > Andasibe National Park (enter rainforest in the afternoon, start adventure, look for lemurs) DAY 6: Andasibe day tour: Vakona Private Reserve (intimate interaction with lemurs, canoe through waterways, enjoy being surrounded by lemurs) DAY 7: Andasibe → Antananarivo (return to capital) > Handicraft market (shop for unique souvenirs) > Airport departure (end of a wonderful trip) 👉【Visa & Entry】: ① Visa: Madagascar offers visa on arrival, very convenient. $10 for stays up to 15 days, $37 for 30 days. You can exchange US dollars or euros for the local currency “Ariary” at the airport or find Chinese restaurant owners in the capital for possibly better rates. ③ Internet: It’s recommended to get a local SIM card at the airport. Telma and Orange are the two main carriers; Telma’s signal is relatively more stable. Having internet makes map checking and contacting drivers much easier. ④ Flights: Flying from Guangzhou via Ethiopia is a common choice. Island transportation is inconvenient; try to choose flights between cities, but flight times are unstable and often change, so leave some flexibility in your schedule. 🧡【Safe Travel Tips】: ① Transportation: Road conditions on the island are poor, long bumpy rides are normal. For independent travelers, it’s strongly recommended to hire a private car for the whole trip for safety and comfort, which greatly improves the experience. If you want to avoid long bus rides, choose flights between cities. ② Accommodation: Most hotels are basic, may lack hairdryers and toiletries, and electricity and Wi-Fi may have time limits. Be prepared and bring your own essentials. ③ Mosquito and health precautions: When visiting rainforests and national parks, wear long sleeves and pants, and bring mosquito repellent. If you have a sensitive stomach, bring medication and avoid street food. ④ Theft prevention: Overall it’s safe, but in big cities like the capital, avoid going out alone at night. Keep a close eye on your belongings, especially in crowded markets. ⑤ Tipping: After receiving service, it’s customary and polite to give guides or service staff a tip. Are you more excited to watch the sunset and starry sky at Baobab Avenue, or to interact closely with the adorable lemurs?

📍Detailed Address: Betania fishing village is located in Morondava, Madagascar, facing Morondava across the sea. It is a typical Vezo fishing village. 🌟Highlights: The living standards here are not high, but the happiness index is quite high. Visitors can tour the village's church, canoe workshop, school, and the fishermen's living environment, and interact with the children. If you prepare some small candies in advance, you can share them with the enthusiastic children in the village. You can also ask the villagers to climb trees to pick fresh coconuts for tasting. Additionally, there is an opportunity to personally experience the unique whitening and sun protection masks used by local women. To reach Betania fishing village, you need to take a boat from Morondava, which takes about twenty minutes. Taking a local characteristic canoe from the city center, you will pass through lush mangrove areas and see fishermen drying their nets along the way. The fishing village has its own school, church, hospital, etc. The seafood here is very cheap, for example, about 3 jin of lobster costs only around 40 RMB. After purchasing the lobster, you can return to the beach restaurant for processing, which costs 20,000 ari.

Hey everyone! This year, I decided to leave my beloved Rome for a while to take a trip that's a bit out of the ordinary. But I assure you, you can feel an incredible history here in Madagascar too—it’s just written in nature rather than in stone! You all know how much I love ancient monuments, and let me tell you, the Avenue of the Baobabs in Morondava left me speechless. These thousand-year-old trees look exactly like the columns of an ancient open-air temple. Walking through them at sunset, surrounded by that warm red earth, is a feeling I will never forget. Oh, and I even tried baobab fruit at a roadside stand! It has a tart, very distinct flavor, but it's totally refreshing. Being a huge fan of markets and local food, my absolute favorite spot had to be the fishing village of Betania. It’s an authentic, no-frills place with zero mass tourism. I got there by taking a dugout canoe through the mangroves, and then I just hung out to watch the fishermen coming back with their boats. Right nearby, I had some incredibly fresh fish grilled right on the street—an absolute treat at rock-bottom prices! To me, this is what traveling is all about. If you go, I highly recommend taking a super slow stroll through the Andasibe forest. No rushing—just taking it easy with the local guides to spot lemurs. They are such cute creatures, and seeing them in their natural habitat is amazing. The best time to visit is right now, between May and October (the dry season), so you can avoid the rain and impassable roads. Make sure to pack lots of sunscreen and a good mosquito repellent! If you're thinking about planning a trip out here and want some tips, feel free to ask in the comments. I'm always happy to reply! Best wishes to you all!
