the great alexandria

Alexandria is a wonderful place to visit and to live on. Very good weather nice peopole and lot of places to see. I recomend yo to arrive by train from Cairo, is an experience you'll never forget, the country landscapes are wonderful and the trains are very well kept. Once you arrive find a nice accomodation, you have a lot of optios from 5 stars hotels to youth hostels. The transportatio is varied, you have taxis, buses and carts, you can have a nice tour by the coas line going throwg the Alexandria's library (top ten place to visit) besides de library you have about 7 museums inside and also a planetarium. You can visit pompeys pillar, and the cemetery very historic, also the catacombs. Try the local food from the street, very good and clean. I reccomend the tea wih mint and he mango juice . The beach is very good but I reccomend to go further out from Alex itself. Hope you enjoy
