Aso Mountain Terminal

I went from Aso Station to Aso Sanjo Terminal! ⁡ I was surprised to see Mount Aso covered in pure white, even though there was no snow near Kumamoto Station. The scenery suddenly transformed into winter mode, and it felt like I'd been transported to another world! ❄️✨ Even the roads were completely white, and cars with standard tires were stopped in the middle of the road...! I thought, "That's just impossible!" 😂 ⁡ The first bus was canceled, but it started running again from the second bus. I imagine the cancellation rate for the first bus is high. But on the other hand, I felt like, "Thank you for running properly!" 🚌✨ ⁡ The photo is the view near Aso Sanjo Terminal. 📸 The snow and mountain were so impressive, I could look at them forever. The air was so cold, it truly felt like I was in the great outdoors! ⁡ The area around the crater was off-limits due to toxic gases. It looks like we probably won't be able to go there either. But even from afar, the volcano's presence was so strong, I felt the power of nature. 🌋 ⁡ I also had some soft serve ice cream in the freezing cold. 🍦 Apparently it contains volcanic ash, but it tastes a bit like sesame. The sweetness was amazing, warming my chilled body, and it was so filling I was totally satisfied. lol Eating even in the cold is a common thing when traveling, isn't it? 😂✨ #Mt.AsoTerminal #Mt.Aso
