Golden mount in central of Bangkok

Golden mount is located almost central of Bangkok. In the past it just a place to put the dead body (lots of people dead from the deceased/epidemic) and they were eaten by griffons. The golden mount was built in the reign of King Rama the 5th and put the relic of the lord buddha on top of the mountain. Lot’s of people can come to pay respect 7.30-19.00, walking up 344 steps to the top. Good 360 degree views from top of the mountain.
