Let's visit the Catholic church in Baoding 天主教堂🕍

· History: Originally built in 1901 and expanded by French missionaries in 1910, the church suffered severe damage during the Cultural Revolution. In 1980, following the government's implementation of new religious policies, the property was returned to the Catholic Church. It was restored and officially reopened in 1981. Today, it serves as the residence of the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Baoding. · Address: Baoding Catholic Church, No. 2 Yuhua Road, Lianchi District, Baoding City, Hebei Province. · The Experience: The church is relatively small, so you can easily see everything in about 10 minutes. It's incredibly beautiful and sits right in the heart of the city. It's super close to other tourist spots like the Zhili Governor's Office, Ancient Lotus Pond, West Street, and the Daci Pavilion. It makes for a perfect quick stop if you're exploring the area, and the best part is that admission is totally free! 👍👍👍 ⚠️ Note: Access to the interior is limited to specific hours. Usually, you can only admire the church from the outside. Since I didn't get the chance to go inside during my visit, I'm not exactly sure what the indoor opening times are.
