Anky in Europe

Barcelona 🇪🇸 Spain

Barcelona is one of the historical city in the world. There is lots of attractions for you to visit! For example, Casa Batlló, La Sagrada Familia , Park Güell and so on. Today, I have been La Sagrada Familia and the view is absolutely stunning. This church is the most iconic building of Antoni Gaudí's unique style and you will definitely like it! Now they are still building as the church isn’t finished yet. However, the view nowadays is already enough for you to feel the greatest art and works in this century . Let’s come along and visit Barcelona ! Restaurants recommendation: Cerveseria Catalana This restaurant I highly recommend as the food is delicious ! I have ordered cuttlefish black rice, octopus and shrimp. They are absolutely delicious! I like it very much and I definitely will come visit again. #barcelona #spain #travel #europe #tripcom #photography #food

Casa Batlló
I want to tell you about a place that alone has been able to excite me more than anything in the Spanish city: Casa Batllò. Even today, 4 years later, when I think back to that day of warm sunshine and the first time I came into contact with an architecture by Antoni Gaudi, I am moved. Legend has it that centuries ago in Montblanc (Terragona) a fierce dragon was raging on the inhabitants of the city. The latter desperate from the continuous destruction, appeased his anger, sacrificing one person a day and "giving it to him for a meal". The time came to sacrifice the princess too, but the brave Saint George ran to his aid and pierced the dragon with his sword and an incredible rose garden was born from the blood that flowed. Since that day, this popular legend is celebrated every year on April 23: the day of San Jordi. Perfect time to visit the house as it is set up with thousands of red roses to represent the spilled blood. The house is open every day of the year from 9 to 21 (last access at 20) at 43 in Paseo de Gracia. The basic ticket costs 25 euros and includes an augmented reality audio guide. A monitor connected to your device will allow you to admire what Gaudì had done in terms of furniture. An idea of what the house was like when the Batllò family resided here and the site had not yet been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In December we did not find a queue but in any case tickets can be purchased online. #barcelona #awesomepic #historicallandmarks #unforgettableexperiences #spain #europe #casabattlo
