Beijing Zizhuyuan Park

Zizhuyuan Park, located near Baishi Bridge in Haidian District, Beijing, is adjacent to the National Library. The park was established in 1953, covering an area of 47.35 hectares, with about one third being water surface. The Nan Chang River and Shuangzi Canal run through the park, forming a basic layout of three lakes, two islands, one dike, one river, and one canal. It is a natural landscape garden characterized by its bamboo scenery, with thousands of bamboo poles creating a serene and lush environment. Since July 1, 2006, Zizhuyuan Park has been open to the public for free.
