To go to the White Temple, you can either join a one-day tour in Chiang Mai or rent a car like me and drive there yourself. The whole journey is about 160 kilometers and takes about three hours. The scenery of the northern Thai countryside along the way is very beautiful. Due to its open style without walls blocking, White Temple does not require tickets to enter. You can take photos outside. The temple is indeed impressive, but not very large. It only takes 20-30 minutes to take photos. It can only be said that it is a must-visit attraction, but there is nothing else besides the architecture itself.
