The White Temple was designed and built by the renowned artist Charlermchai Kositpipat, funded by his personal savings and donations from well-wishers. To prevent donors from influencing the temple's construction, Charlermchai deliberately set a donation cap of $10,000. The artist is world-famous for his numerous paintings related to Buddhism. This creation, the White Temple, is considered his exclusive interpretation of heaven, hell, and nirvana.
