Wat Huai Plakang, Chiang Rai Province 🪷 Another beautiful temple in Chiang Rai Province is located on a hill. The temple is surrounded by hills where you can see beautiful views. 🏰 Meet Chok Tham Chedi, a nine-story pagoda with a contemporary architectural style. The exterior is built in layers. Each layer is roofed like a Chinese pavilion decorated with dragons on all sides. The top of the pagoda houses a bell-shaped pagoda in a true Thai style, decorated with Burmese-style umbrellas. There are 9 floors in total. Inside the pagoda, there is a replica of the Bodhisattva Guanyin carved from fragrant wood. 🙏 The white stucco chapel has a naga staircase as a magnificent staircase with stucco patterns throughout the building. Inside, there is a white principal Buddha statue. 🎋 The statue of the Bodhisattva Guanyin, the largest Guanyin statue in Thailand, is approximately 79 meters high and stands on a hill. It looks majestic. It is believed that anyone who comes to ask for a blessing for health, finances, and work will receive that blessing.
