Alishan, Chiayi, Taiwan: In Pursuit of Sea of Clouds, Sunset, and the Sunrise Shrouded in Mist

Alishan is located in Chiayi County in the central-southern part of Taiwan, famous for its 'Five Wonders' which include the sunrise🌅, sea of clouds☁️, forests🌳, railway🛤️, and sunset glow🌄. This time, I was fortunate enough to witness four of the wonders, except for the sunrise, which was unfortunately obscured by heavy fog, preventing me from experiencing that awe-inspiring sight. Upon arriving at the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, I was immediately enveloped by the surrounding greenery💚. The air here is fresh and pleasant, and the oxygen that filled my lungs made me feel rejuvenated. Standing on the observation deck, I saw the continuous green mountains⛰️ and the white sea of clouds rising from the valleys☁️, gradually enveloping the entire mountain range. As the sun slowly set, we headed to the Alishan Station to watch the sunset🌄. The afterglow of the sun reflected on the mountains, creating a beautiful painting. The next morning, we woke up early, excited to watch the sunrise, but the appearance of thick fog completely covered the mountains, preventing me from witnessing this magnificent spectacle🥲. The trip to Alishan made me deeply appreciate the magic and grandeur of nature. Although I was slightly disappointed at not being able to see the sunrise, I still enjoyed the tranquility and satisfaction that Alishan brought to my soul😌.
