🇵🇹 Cape Roca, the Westernmost Pt of Europe

Cabo da Roca or Cape Roca is a cape which forms the westernmost point of continental Europe. It is about 20 km and 30 minutes drive from Sintra. The cape is famous for its spectacular steep cliffs rising 140m above the Atlantic Ocean. On the highest point of Cabo da Roca stands a 22-m lighthouse built in 1772. It was very windy at the cliff during our visit. We also witnessed an approaching storm over the sea.
