Yunnan 4 Days 3 Nights Travel Guide·Dali Edition

Yunnan 4 Days 3 Nights Travel Guide·Dali Edition DAY1~DAY2 Lijiang DAY3~DAY4 Dali 📝 Nanny-level guide, please check it out. My route is absolutely mine-free. For the entire trip, we took taxis for convenience. I will write down the most cost-effective transportation methods below. Everyone can decide based on their own situation. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 Continued from the previous part DAY 3 🕣 Morning Lijiang→Dali🚄 Taxi or bus→Check into the guesthouse 'I Wait for You by Erhai Lake' 🕚 Lunch at Abo's Private Kitchen (right behind the guesthouse, very close, the dishes are suitable for rice, the price is moderate, be cautious with the stir-fried Erhai Lake shrimp, it's a heavy meal) 🕐 Ride a bicycle🚲or rent an electric scooter🛵→Panxi Village S-curve (2 kilometers away) 🕒 Afternoon Electric scooter🛵or taxi→Xizhou Ancient Town/Haishu Park (need to reserve in advance through the official WeChat account) 🕔 Taxi→Shuanglang Ancient Town ☕ Coffee shop recommendation: Cocoon Coffee/Xi Hai Space 🍛 Dinner recommendation: Mu Xi Dali (right next to Cocoon Coffee) DAY 4 🕕6:00 Get up→☕Xin Di Coffee to watch the sunrise (half an hour by car) The guesthouse we stayed at has a sea view room, which is also nice, but I personally recommend going to Xin Di Coffee. 🕙 Morning→Dali Ancient Town, stroll and eat 🕛🛣️Check in at Cang Er Avenue 🕑14:00 🚄Return to Chengdu Here are some random thoughts: 1. Compared to Lijiang, Dali's infrastructure is not very well developed. You have to cross a footbridge when you come out of the high-speed train station to take a taxi, ride-hailing service, or bus. Also, note that the high-speed train station is under renovation, so the entrance and exit are not in the same place. 2. I do not recommend traveling during the peak season. This time we waited for taxis in Dali, and the average waiting time was over 20 minutes. The highways were also congested. It took us about three and a half hours to get from Panxi Village to Shuanglang, and it cost me more than 200💰 one way. Halfway through, the highway exit was closed, and we had to detour an extra 20 kilometers. So, the regrettable part of this trip was that due to the traffic jam, it was almost dark by the time we reached Shuanglang. 3. Xin Di Coffee is super photogenic, but it's also really crowded. We arrived at seven o'clock, and all four floors were full of people. The popular photo spot had a long queue (I didn't wait in line). 4. Erhai Lake is truly beautiful. Be sure to pick a good day to visit.
