Get real close to mother nature at Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo

Over 1,000 animals from all around the world at Australia’s greatest open-range zoo. 300 hectares with the option to drive your own car around, hire bike/carts or walk around the zoo (though I don’t recommend walking it as it’s a real big zoo). You can hire the bikes and carts at the entrance of the zoo. The zoo also offers lodges and camps for overnight stays and private tours around the zoo. Easy to get to if catching the countrylink (regional) trains from Sydney CBD central station to Dubbo (around 5.5hrs train ride) which passes through the Aussie outback and regional areas. Comfortable seating with plenty of leg room even on economy class, and a buffet car for you to buy food/drinks (we all do like to snack when we are bored hahaha). #travel #animalsinzoo #zoo #nature #tarongazoo
