Qingjiang, formerly known as Yishui, is 800 miles long. It roars and rushes, splashing like pearls or hiding deep in the earth, surging against the cliffs. It crosses Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture from west to east, nurturing generations of Tujia children and known as the "mother river" of the Tujia people. The Daqing River International Tourism Resort, from the Fenshui River in Enshi City to Shuibuya in Badong County, is 87 kilometers long and is the most beautiful and ecologically unique section of the Qingjiang River. The entire journey is divided into three sections: Qianpao Gorge, Butterfly Gorge, and Bawang Gorge. The canyon on both sides is picturesque, with majestic stone peaks and waterfalls.
