Fukuoka City Museum

#FukuokaTourism The Fukuoka City Museum is a wonderful museum. First of all, you can see the real gold seal found on Shikanoshima in its entirety. This is not something you can do very often. Also, the exhibits are well-organized, with models of ruins from the Yayoi period related to Fukuoka City and ships of Japanese envoys from the Nara period. The exhibits are also first-rate, and give a clear picture of Fukuoka from the later period to the present day. Furthermore, there are many good special exhibitions. Therefore, this spot is highly recommended.
