Fuyang Yuntai Mountain Azalea Viewing Loop, Hangzhou Photos taken on April 10. Most of the azaleas are in full bloom these days. We met a local dog named Dahuang on the way up the mountain. It was loyal, cute, and enthusiastically led the way for us. When I gently stroked its head, it suddenly grinned. Dahuang's smile was so beautiful! So healing! Although Dahuang couldn't speak, it accompanied us silently all the way. Sometimes we stopped to take pictures for a long time and thought it had run away, but when we walked to the intersection ahead, we found it was still waiting for us. This touching and beautiful moment has been unforgettable. ✅️Navigation: Navigate to Dawu Village, Dongqiao, Fuyang. You can park in the village. If you go on the weekend, and if there are many cars, you will have to park in Dawu Village because the road from the village to the foot of the mountain is narrow, making it difficult for two cars to pass each other. The hike from the village is about six kilometers round trip. ✅️We went on a working day, and there were few cars, so we drove directly to the foot of the mountain. There are small parking spaces at the Yuntai Mountain archway. You can park there. Further ahead, there are also some parking spaces near a public restroom. The hike from the foot of the mountain is about four kilometers round trip. ✅️Things to note: There is a restroom at the foot of the mountain, but none further up. At the starting point of the hike, there are two paths. We went up the mountain on the right path and down on the left. The left path is flatter, while the right path is mainly a stone road and is steeper, but the scenery on the right path is more beautiful, and you can also reach the top faster to enjoy the flowers. When you are more than halfway up, you will see a fork in the road. Turn left to go up the mountain (see the location in Picture 3). From here, you will start to see patches of azaleas. There are colored ribbons from hiking groups marking the forks in the road. It can be quite sunny on a clear day, so be sure to wear sunscreen and set off as early as possible. ✅️Nearby attractions 1⃣ Dawu Village at the foot of the mountain also has some old houses that you can wander around. 2⃣ Nearby is the Lvzhu River, a tributary of the Fuchun River. The mountain villages along the way have beautiful scenery. You can stop at the bridge at the entrance of Daxi Village. This section of the river is wide and offers stunning wetland scenery. 3⃣ The nearby Yanling Lake and Taoyuan Scenic Area also have beautiful scenery. There is a beautiful wild Castanopsis sclerophylla forest near Yanling Lake. Yanling Lake is free, while Taoyuan Scenic Area charges an admission fee. 4⃣ Wen Village was designed by Mr. Wang Shu, a famous architect and dean of the School of Architecture and Art of the China Academy of Art. It is a combination of ancient simplicity and modern style. After Yuntai Mountain, we also went to the Fuchun River, the Fuchunshanju Greenway, and Tongzhou Island.
