Add the Shadian Grand Mosque to your southeastern Yunnan itinerary!

📍Located in Gejiu, Yunnan, I rented a car and drove from Mengzi Honghe Station, about 20 km and a half-hour drive. 📷The afternoon light is excellent, and the refracted sunlight can create starbursts in photos. The light and shadow inside the building are enchanting, with a comfortable warm yellow hue. I was lucky to experience a clearing sky after rain at sunset, and the entire building looked stunning under the blue-purple sky. 👍️If you have enough time, be sure to wait for a prayer service. There are five services daily, except on special days, with separate halls for men and women. Visitors are allowed to observe and take photos outside the halls. 👉The five prayer times are 6:20, 13:30, 17:30, 18:50, and 19:55, each lasting about half an hour. I watched the Asr prayer (17:30). Shoes must be removed before entering the hall, and silence should be maintained.
