Cultural Guangzhou—Xiguan Yongqing Fang

Yongqing Fang, also known as the Yongqing Fang Tourist Area, is located in the core area of Xiguan in Liwan District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, covering an area of about 760,000 square meters. It is a 'National AAAA Tourist Attraction' that integrates tourism, culture, entertainment, and social functions. It is also a core historical and cultural district of Guangzhou that blends ancient architecture, traditional arts, international leisure, and modern trends. The main body of Yongqing Fang consists of two core areas: the northern Litchi Bay area and the southern Enning Road area (Yongqing Fang, Cantonese Opera Art Museum). The tourist area encompasses five connected historical and cultural streets: Fengyuan Street—Liwan Source, Changhua Street, Enning Road, Duobao Road, and Baoyuan Road historical and cultural districts. These areas gather Xiguan's local style, arcade buildings, and Lingnan traditional performing arts, making it one of the places with a strong Lingnan cultural flavor. As an old site in Xiguan with a rich cultural heritage of Guangzhou, Xiguan Yongqing Fang has the most complete arcade buildings and Republic of China-style architecture with a blend of Chinese and Western elements. It possesses profound historical and cultural accumulation and is a typical representation of Lingnan culture.
