Zhaoxing Dong Village | Take your parents to enjoy a three-day, two-night slow life of the Dong people

🔹It is said that Zhaoxing Dong Village is the largest Dong settlement in Guizhou, and the village is indeed not small. Each clan embodies the excellent qualities that the ancestors wanted to pass on to their descendants. With small bridges over flowing water, buying a cup of coffee and a bite of yogurt at a riverside shop and sitting there all day is indeed a peaceful and tranquil slow life. 🔹In addition to performances and parades, there are many traces of the indigenous people's daily lives - grandfathers would smoke by the drum tower, grandmothers would weave with their dogs beside the drum tower, and in the evening, a large TV under the drum tower would play various programs for everyone to gather and watch... These are all very ordinary and relaxed aspects of life. To blend in and feel them is the very essence of travel. 🔹In the evening, you can choose to watch the Grand Song, which is a world intangible cultural heritage. If you want to experience the crowd and interaction at the bonfire party afterwards, you can, but it's a bit late and you'll need to bring clothes. 🔹Many ethnic minorities have tie-dyeing/batik for making cloth, and the entire tie-dyeing experience in the Dong village is quite primitive. For photo opportunities related to tie-dyeing, Jiajie and the village head experience center both have nice spots, and just visiting these two places is enough.
