Yuewang Temple (Tomb

Yuewang Temple (Tomb of Yue Fei) was built in honor of Chinese national hero Yue Fei. With its solemn and serene atmosphere, it has placed among the top 10 sights of the West Lake three times. Backed by Qixia Mountain, Yuewang Temple is located to the north of Su Causeway. As the sun sets, a glittering beam of light is cast over the tomb, creating a beautiful sight. For this reason, it is nicknamed "the Yue tomb in the sunset".
