Chi Minh Performance | Watching a grand play at the Grand Opera House

On the first day of landing in Ho Chi Minh, I booked a performance in the evening. It was said to be similar to Cirque du Soleil, and the location was the Ho Chi Minh City Grand Opera House in the city center. The opera house was just at the hotel's doorstep, a mere 5-minute walk away, which couldn't be more convenient. The Grand Opera House has a long history, designed and built by the French, so it exudes a strong French charm. The architecture itself is very much worth exploring. The performance was somewhat different from what I had imagined. To call it a circus would be somewhat inappropriate; it was actually a composite carrier that combined many elements such as singing, dancing, and acrobatics, showing the audience Vietnam's past to the present. The local characteristics were prominent and quite interesting. I recommend watching it. Tips ① There are free drinks available before the performance. Everyone can line up and help themselves. ② After the performance, there is a photo session with the actors for the audience at the famous staircase. Don't miss it if you're intereste
