Instead of squeezing into Thailand, I got a villa with an infinity pool in Huizhou.
People are always longing to go to the seaside, calling friends and family together, renting a standalone villa in Xunliao Bay, where you can see the sea from the infinity pool, and this experience is absolutely amazing.
The infinity pool on the top floor offers a stunning view of the beautiful seascape and dusk, and the outdoor hot pool is large enough to accommodate 5-6 people. KTV, billiards table, arcade games, the more you play, the more exciting it gets.
The villa has a total of 15 guest rooms, perfect for friends/family/team building gatherings, covering an area of about 1600 square meters, so you won't run out of things to do, right? Besides the rooftop infinity pool, you can walk to the beach, who needs to squeeze into Thailand anymore; the style of the yard is purely white, and the interior is just as simple and atmospheric, indeed minimalism is the ultimate.

Standing on the viewing platform of the bay, admiring the double moon-shaped bay where the mirror-like calm and the surging waves merge, the sea breeze whispers, calling the call of loving life.
✨✨Travel guide: The two bays of Double Moon Bay have different characteristics. The waves of Daya Bay are smaller, the sand is delicate and comfortable, but the sea water is easily turbid; while the waves of Rainbow Bay are larger, suitable for watching the waves, but the gravel on the beach is coarser and can cause inconvenience.
The beach of Double Moon Bay is full of broken shells and it's hard on the feet, while the adjacent Xunliao Bay beach is comfortable with fine white sand, and the sea view after the rain behind the Reef Bar is greenish.
The surrounding Sea Turtle Bay is a fresh and romantic place known as the "Little Kenting of Guangdong", with a parking lot at the entrance and a ticket price of 30 yuan. It is about a 20-minute drive from the viewing platform to the Sunrise Reef Bar, with a ticket price of 128 yuan. When you get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise, there is usually no one checking tickets, so you can enter directly, and it is also suitable for taking pictures.

We chose a hotel near Shuangyue Bay. There are many hotels there, basically all are sea view rooms. It's very cheap in the off-season. We booked a large three-person room with a balcony where you can see the sea, overall very comfortable.
We arrived at the hotel at two o'clock that day, so we just ordered a takeaway to eat!! There are mostly seafood restaurants there, so be careful to ask the price in advance to avoid being ripped off.
The afternoon itinerary is the beach under the hotel.
It's very beautiful.

Snack street (I feel it's average, but it's also for finding food) After eating, we went back to the hotel.
The next morning, we got up at six o'clock and started waiting for the sunrise.
Then we had a nap.

A Weekend Getaway @ Double Moon Bay!
Shuangyue bay or popularly known as the Double Moon Bay beach paradise is the most visited holiday beach around Huizhou.
Great beach and surfers waves. Very family friendly environment. Tens of big and small hotels around the area. Restaurants and coffee shops in every corner. (You wont starve at all)...
To get there, from Shenzhen, we took a didi ride for a 2 and 1/2 hours travel., around 100km (just my own preference to travel conveniently)
But if you want, you can take a train from Shenzhen North to Huidong, then take a taxi ride to Double Moon Bay.

Within a stones through of the apartment complex are a variety of eateries which are very affordable. Head west along the coast and there is a flat coast path which leads to another beach, bikes are available to rent or you can walk with the dog.
China isn't always accommodating with dogs, but this place really is and it was so much fun.

The beach and sea are both clean, with opportunity to relax, walk, build sandcastles, swim, or partake in the watersport activities on offer.
Be sure to catch the glorious sunset views and cool down with the onshore sea breeze. During the evening you can see sporadic firework displays lighting up the sky.
A little gem not far from huizhou high-speed train station well worth a visit.

The truth in Silver beach
Nice beach to spend the afternoon in, in the evening is so crowded EVERYDAY! People from nearby hotels and locals go to this public beach and, tbh, they throw trash in the sea 🤢 so you will find a lot of everything. It's so disappointing that they don't take care of the few spaces there are to swim in. The beach is not crystal clear but good enough to spend a little while. You have to pay from 40-50 RMB to sit under those umbrellas, that's the business, the expensive hotel 碧桂园酒店 doesn't provide it even if you are their guest. #beachlife
Oh and you can find quite enough places to eat or drink something at night, in both sides of the beach 🤩

A Thailand-themed hotel with something for everyone!
Arriving to check-in, we we're greeted with a live band creating a unique experience. The hotel is huge and well staffed, so it always felt uncrowded and we were very well looked after.
The amenities are fantastic for couples and families. There are a variety of swimming pools in different areas and floors. Most notable is the infinity located high up with stunning views of the sea. There is a private beach attached to the hotel with loungers, umbrellas, and a bar.
A highlight is the large bathtub on the balcony of the room to really relax and gaze at the stars.

Three towering towers! 6 swimming pools. 2 infinity pools. Beachfront as wide as you can imagine. 6 restaurants, a grocery store, a childs playground castle, a gym, archery court, a cinema. what else can you ask for... Dusit Thani Sandalwoods Resort hotel in Shuangyue bay, Huizhou (Double Moon Bay) offers all of these amenities.
In my two nights stay, didnt got the chance to check out everything the hotel offers, so i will come back again next weekend!

Apparently, this hotel we booked for our two-nights staycation has the biggest hotel lobby in Huizhou.
The hotel is called Dusit Thani Sandalwoods Resort hotel in Shuangyue bay or most commonly known as the Double Moon Bay.
Thai culture designs are very noticeable on this lobby starting of with their featured massive elephant structure in the middle of it.
The lobby features the lobby lounge, the observation deck, and the loooonnnggggg red sofa in the middle of it.

Celebrating my 44th in Dusit Thani Sandalwoods hotel is the bestest decision i've made so far!!! 😂
We did a two-nighter staycation and it was awesome! i love the room that we booked in the 19th floor overseeing the whole facade of the Double Moon Bay beach and pool paradise. All the room details are pleasant to my eyes (since im neat freak hahaha). Clean indeed.
