The Jaigar Fort is located on the hill above the Amber Castle. The castle built on the hill has strong military defenses, and it has repeatedly resisted the attacks of foreign invaders. There was the longest cannon in the world at the time, and because of the castle, the whole Jaipur was known for being invincible. This castle means "City of Victory" in the dialect of Rajasthan.
