[Redang] Clear Blue Skies and Waters

#malaysia It wasn’t easy getting to Redang island from Singapore, since you had to take a plane to Kuala Terengganu airport, then take a bus to the jetty for a 2h ferry to Redang island. Once you’ve arrived, however, the clear blue skies and crystal clear waters seem to make the effort all worthwhile. We love how the island retains its rustic charm despite having resorts side by side catering to friends, families and even company retreats. Some of our friends went for a lovely dive, while the rest of us chose to chill on the beach and even watched baby turtles from the nearby conservatory take their baby steps into the sea. Despite the journey, it was a wonderfully relaxing holiday for all and highly recommended if you don’t mind the hassle! #wheretogo #weekendgetaways
