Zhouzhuang

Located southeast of Suzhou city, Zhouzhuang is a small town under the jurisdiction of Kunshan City, surrounded by water on all sides, and still retains the architecture from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Compared to Wuzhen, Zhouzhuang is quieter and less commercialized. The boat ride costs ¥280 per person, and a ¥100 ticket is even more incomprehensible. The restaurants within the scenic area are quite a trap, with roadside restaurants averaging ¥200-300 per person being quite common, so it's reasonable that there are fewer tourists. Zhouzhuang is one of the earliest commercial ancient towns to open and has a history of over 20 years.
