Liaoyang's landmark, the ancient White Pagoda

Liaoyang White Pagoda is the most famous historical site in Liaoyang. It is an octagonal thirteen-story solid brick pagoda with hanging eaves and a dense eave style, which was originally built during the Liao Dynasty. Despite restorations over the centuries, it still retains the Liao Dynasty style and is a typical example of an ancient pagoda from that period.
