Guizhou Xiaoqikong - Guiyang One-Day Round Trip Guide, A Must-Read

Xiaoqikong is truly beautiful! We decided to go last minute, departing from Guiyang. We took the high-speed train at 10:30 AM, arriving at Xiaoqikong High-speed Rail Station at 11:30 AM. After getting off the high-speed train, there's a bus 🚍 directly to the East Gate for 10 yuan per person. Definitely, definitely take the bus to the East Gate! Once inside the scenic area, the internal scenic shuttle bus allows unlimited rides with a purchased ticket. Take the sightseeing bus directly to the West Gate. We chose to ride all the way to the end, then walk back without retracing our steps, enjoying the sights along the way. The first attraction coming from the West Gate: Wolongtan (Sleeping Dragon Pool) 🐲. It's truly the most beautiful, the lake water is so green! My absolute favorite attraction!! The second attraction: Yuanyang Lake (Mandarin Duck Lake). We rowed a boat 🚣 there for an hour, 30 yuan per person. The ticket price is very reasonable, I think it's a great deal!! The scenery inside is super beautiful 💦. It's very tranquil, very interesting, especially that maze haha 😆. The third attraction: The Great Waterfall. I personally think it's just okay, but it's very impressive. The third attraction: Forest on Stone 🌳. It's trees growing on stones, and there's a road along the way. Keep walking and you'll reach the Xiaoqikong attraction. The fourth attraction: Xiaoqikong (Small Seven-Arch Bridge). Check in! A must-check-in! I specifically counted how many arches there were haha 😆. After taking photos, we went to the East Gate to take the bus 🚌. The last bus is at 7 PM, we took the 6:30 PM bus 🚌 back to the high-speed rail station 🚄, fearing we might be rushed, so we left a bit earlier. Then, we took the 7:30 PM high-speed train back to Guiyang. Upon arriving in Guiyang, we took a taxi directly to Minsheng Road Food Street and had a delicious late-night snack!
