The ancient city by the sea

1⃣️ Ziyang Street might be a road you walk repeatedly on your journey, where you can take aerial-like photos from the top of the city wall; 2⃣️ From atop the city wall, you can overlook the entire old town, and this alley is right beside Ziyang Street, offering a more grounded atmosphere; 3⃣️ Chonghe Gate by the East Lake, a little further ahead, there's a place called Aunt Tang's Flat Dumplings, where the ginger stewed egg is delicious; 4⃣️ The magnolia flowers by the sea have bloomed, this one is in front of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and the magnolias along the streets of Linhai seem even more abundant than in Hangzhou; 5⃣️ At the end of Ziyang Ancient Street, you can sit under the Qianfo Pagoda and have tea, which is like a dialogue between the past and present; 6⃣️ One street over from Ziyang Street is Chicheng Road, which also has many old buildings, including the former site of Yu Tongfeng Pawnshop, now known as Yufeng Li, where you can stay; 7⃣️ The courtyard of Yufeng Li is quaint, a nice place to sit and watch the rain dripping from the eaves on a rainy day; 8⃣️ There are old trees lining the old streets, and opposite Hupu Middle School, there's Xu Lao Tai's wheat cakes, which are quite tasty; 9⃣️ Walking on the ancient city wall is peaceful on rainy days, and the view from Wangjiang Gate is very antique; 🔟 After staying two nights at Yufeng Li, although it's only separated from Ziyang Street by a wall, it's much quieter. The first floor is an ordinary reader's bookstore with an excellent selection of books; 1⃣️1⃣️ Ziyang Ancient Street needs to be strolled slowly, in addition to these quaint scenes, there's also a chance to try all the special snacks of Linhai: Wang Tianshun's seaweed cakes, Lü's marinated shrimp, Chen's embedded cakes; 1⃣️2⃣️ Ziyang Street is now brightly lit, and you can find Taizhou snacks everywhere, including green grass paste, black rice mochi, and egg white lamb tails, without having to look for a specific place; 1⃣️3⃣️ Chonghe Gate near East Lake; 1⃣️4⃣️ When tired from walking around Ziyang Street, find a quiet place, the books at the ordinary reader's bookstore are good, and the hand-brewed coffee at 18reserva is nice, they also give away almond slices from Xinrongji; 1⃣️5⃣️ Linhai has East Lake and Ling Lake, with East Lake close to the old town, worth a visit if you have time; 1⃣️6⃣️ Longxing Temple is at the head of Ziyang Ancient Street, after walking around you can go to the temple to pray, and nearby there's a specialty shop for Baishuiyang tofu, the rich soy milk is really the first time I've tasted such since leaving home; 1⃣️7⃣️ Ziyang Street is less crowded when it rains, and after walking around, if you want seafood, head to the Seafood Street on Renmin Road; 1⃣️8⃣️ A good spot for taking photos on the ancient city wall is at the No. 3 Watchtower, where some parts of the wall have an S-shape curve; Linhai is such a small city, you don't need to look for special photo spots, you don't need to queue for food, just wandering around you can encounter beautiful scenery, and casually entering any shop you can find snacks to your taste.
