Here comes the simple and practical guide to conquering the little Wugong Mountain

With summer approaching, the meadows of Wugong Mountain are turning green again. 🚌 About Transportation 🚇 High-speed Rail: Take the high-speed train/train to Pingxiang Station or Pingxiang North Station, then transfer to the express bus directly to Wugong Visitor Center. ✈️ Airplane: Fly to Changsha Huanghua International Airport, then transfer to high-speed rail to Pingxiang, and take the express bus from there. 🎫 About Tickets Book in advance for 60, 70 on the day. 👏🏻 First Level Cableway (Zhong'an Cableway) Upward 65/Downward 50 👏🏻 Second Level Cableway (Jinding Cableway) Upward 35/Downward 25 ⛰️ Hiking Suggestions ▪️ The whole journey on foot takes about 10 hours. ▪️ (One section of the cableway): Shigusi Service Area - Zhong'an Cableway - Echo Valley - Lover's Gallery - Xuanwu Divine Turtle - Meadow Boat - Alpine Meadow - Jinding Flame. 📝 Note tips: ✅ There's no need to buy tickets for both sections of the cableway, just the first section is fine. ✅ Be sure to wear comfortable sports shoes, the climb to the top of the mountain and Jinding can be challenging with many stairs and steps. If you have the stamina, you can run all the way up, and the descent is smooth. ✅ If you want to see the sunrise at the summit in the morning and the starry sky at night, it's recommended to stay overnight on the mountain. There are tents at the top, be sure to book one or two days in advance. If you're concerned about cleanliness, book a guesthouse/inn room instead. The tent is 128, and the price of the starry sky bubble house is slightly more expensive! ✅ Sunglasses, masks, hats, sun protection clothing, and other items are a must. The UV rays at the summit can easily cause sunburn – bring a fleece jacket if staying overnight. ✅ For night climbing, bring a flashlight, spare underwear, toiletries, instant noodles, and other energy-boosting foods. ✅ Power bank, thermos (there's free hot water at the summit), wet wipes, and tissues. ✅ Check the weather in advance, as rain a day or two before can make it difficult to see the sunrise.
