📍Manno Park, Kagawa Prefecture Manno Park is planted with kochia, which is called by its Japanese name "houkigusa" or "houkigi." The name comes from the fact that in the past, the branches were dried and used to make brooms. The leaves turn bright green in August and begin to turn red in mid-September, and the scenery becomes beautiful and spectacular in mid-October. In fact, it is the raw material for "tonburi," a local dish of Akita Prefecture, and is called "caviar of the field."
