Great stay at the new Westin Miyako Kyoto

Although I have missed the Sakura blooming by a week due to the warmer than usual weather. I have had a great time. Address - located in Higashiyama, near the infamous NanzenJi Ambiance/Facilities - Incredible beautiful, especially after the renovation. Highlights - The 125-year-old Westin Miyako Kyoto is stunning after its complete renovation, with newly refurbished rooms and breathtaking views of the surrounding gardens and mountain. They have upgraded my room to a suite with large balconies. The room size is incredibly large. The decor is extremely delightful. Water pressure is perfect and toiletries are made by a famous French brand “Sothys”. The hotel has added a beautifully decorated members only (or hotel guest) Onsen. It has a few pools included a large one surrounded by man made waterfalls. The breakfast is also great. The selection and quality are the best among the hotels in Kyoto. There is a free shuttle bus and luggage service from Kyoto station. Avg. Price per Person - $390 low season $799 Sakura season Rating - 9.5/ 10 Best in class. Best in Kyoto. My favorite hotel (large hotel with full-scale facilities and service) in Kyoto.
