Near the Munich Town Hall Square, there is a very inconspicuous church called the Berger Church. This church is not only a special name, but it is also a hole in the sky. This is my favorite one among the many churches in Munich. A lot of people don't know the name of this church. In fact, since the consecration on May 13, 1778, it has been informally known as the Citizens' Church. Since 1778, the hall has been converted to a church. As the assembly hall of the Men's Church of the Madonna of the Jesuits. During the Second World War, in 1944, the church of the Civic Hall was bombed and the outer wall was destroyed. Only the facade was intact. The Borgel church is different from the general church. The interior of the church is divided into upper and lower churches. The Oberkirche is equivalent to the Civic Hall. Only the ceiling mural "Martin Knoller" (1773/74) was not repaired. The overall design is Johann Andreas Wolff. Since it was not originally used for religious ceremonies, the main altar was located in the north. The Unterkirche consists of three rooms without windows, which were built at the end of the 19th century.
