#timetotravelI passed by the Sapan Yao National Monument located in the center of Nakhon Sithammarat, Thailand, one afternoon. It seems to be situated in the middle of the road, and I decided to pay my respects. The place is described as having a beautiful design, with clean walkways and abundant greenery, including various flowers and plants. In front of the monument, there's a black monk statue with offerings of fresh flowers. I showed my respect by clasping my hands together. There were also informative signs in Thai that explained the historical significance of the monument. It appears to be a sacred place, and I appreciate you sharing this experience!
